    Not a 'bad' Definition

Your words are 'your own' yes, as are your actions. your intention is your own.

The furnature is not true though, you have manipulated a tree and carved it down, thats pure-ly manipulation.

    Peace.

Take for example the 'dimention of Space' The Physical Elements, The forces that Govern the Universe, The Stars and Physical mass.

Those are all real things that exist, we then take those things and manipuate them and concieve new ways of altering those in Alchemy, thought manipuation etc.

    It's still a creation.

There is also the creation of the elementals from nothing, for surely there is no other source.

Can you show me something that comes from nothing, also the furniture did not come from nothing, the tools were once metals under the already existing (Created) Earth. The Wood used was from an already existing tree which sprouted from an already existing seed.

Do you not see the difference in word context and definition between, "creating" a 'table' and "Creating" the 'Dimension of Space', or the Creating ''Physical mass in the universe".

That wasnt one defninition, it was a grouping of definitions, they are not all the same and interchangeable.

The entire existence of the Cosmos is a positive/negative distribution of the nothing of partial nonexistence. Hard to miss that.

    They were just different examples.
To create is to make something new but not from nothing.
Once created something new, you can reproduce but this is not a creation.

No but you must find discussion partners, those for whom the meaning of the word "create" is like yours.

You mean make your debate opponents/Readers aware as to which particuar Definition of the word you are using or subscribing to momentarily to clear things up as for the course of discussion to "Contintue".

    How about:

Yea, though I wander through the Valley of singularities, I fear not the Vale's curvature, for have I created a measuring-rod which is straight.

Wouldnt the word "Devised", fit your definition better. not "Created".

"Devise" is rather a mental process than a physical realization.
But if you define "create" in your way at the beginning of a discussion, I have no problem to operate with your notion.

EFOC - you have simply shortened the phrase "creatio ex nihilo" (creation from nothing) to "creation"... and not everyone will have the same meaning.
I would suggest you be sure that whenever you do use the term "creation" to mean "creation from nothing" that you let others know that that is what you mean.

Also, while some definitions of creation are synonymous with other words (e.g. conceive), not all definitions of creation - such as yours - will necessarily be synonymous. And if you swap the term based on the synonymity of one meaning and then use another meaning of the new term, you will create confusion and misunderstanding, not to mention possibly move the goalposts of a thread as a result.

If you use the word in the context of ets say, "I devised a plan" then I agree, It is usualy something that would come up mid-way through a debate when conficting definitions arise.

Well if it's not creation from nothing then it is merely Manipulation of already existing elements/dimension/energy.

For me "create" is "Manipulation of already existing elements/dimension/energy" to make a new thing.
