So lets see: now you are giving the dolphins hands, giving them the ability to breathe oxygen (or some similar apparatus), what next?

    No I'm not.

    And that "reason" would be...?
Let me guess. Lack of a single in the top 100.

Um, John. Dolphins do breathe oxygen.

Not like humans. Dolphins live in the ocean, can you admit that?

So your "basic reason" that they can't leave the ocean is "they don't want to".
    Right.

Yes, they live in the sea. Dolphins are mammals. They do breathe "like humans". This was discovered by people with brains. Maybe you've come across the concept?

Your point is like: did you know humans can swim underwater.

Would you care to expand on why this is a "basic reason"?

Yet you ignore it so often.
Let's get back to the point: dolphins breathe oxygen. Much like humans.
What further objections do you have?

Humans can swim underwater. I spend the majority of my swimming time underwater.
    So what?

FFS, John. What next? Are you kidding? How about an answer to:

"Do you suppose an intelligent lifeform similar in appearance to a dolphin with hands could learn to travel through space?"

    Here are your choices:
    A. Yes
    B. No

    Does that make it easier?

They have to overcome other issues. Not relevant to the topic either.

John please stop avoiding the point.
    You stated that
You have yet to tell us this reason.
You came up with crap about "dolphins not breathing oxygen" (based on your ignorance) and have dodged about constantly.

And as I shown this is a bullshit cop-out. The topic has moved on from the OP.

    Usual John99 reaction.
I'd like to think it's because he's realised how utterly stupid his arguments have been, but I suspect that it's a refusal to understand the basic points being put forward and incapability of learning anything.

    Ignorance in action...

    That's what I figured...

One last point - humans live in an ocean as well.

    in more ways than one.
each of us is one person in an ocean of billions
some even have oceans of money to swim in.
    how's that saying again?
give me a sturdy craft and a star to steer her by.

does this post pass the alien test?

    Quite.
All you have to do is make your point(s) clearly and support your contentions.
