Oh my. I'm completely lost now. Is that your strategy? Baffle with bullshit rather than dazzle with brilliance? You're succeeding... :wtf:
One factor. The hand is the best tool i can imagine. I really cant think of any of similar magnitude. Do you think we would be more advanced if we had six fingers on each hand? It is very possible.
How about if I just use your strategy? I'll know it when I see it... /Randwolf searches frantically, yet fruitlessly, through a certain member's posts...
I dont know what you are talking about but this is not related to the topic. Edit: before you even ask...the first sentence was sarcasm.
One extra finger on each hand...a small...little detail. What a difference it would make...indeed. Could mean twice as many posts????
Which is nothing to do with endo/ exo skeletons. Please support your claim that these relate to intelligence/ knowledge. And your "imagination" has nothing to do with reality. Why?
Why? How? Balls. How would a 20% increase in the number of fingers double the typing speed? And how many (even if you did posts twice as often) would make sense?
Why does that not surprise me? I think that was my point, John. John, which "first sentence"? Your entire post is only one sentence. Perhaps you are referring to another post? If so, which one? Help me out here...
Now the question is: What is the possibility of six fingers. Well, let us weigh the possibilities. Five fingers per hand...six fingers per hand. Hand with six fingers would be larger. Larger hand ='s less likely to get into finer detailed work. Less dense finger ='s easier to break. Now it is beginning to look as though the number of fingers they have are 5 per hand. And you know...streamlined efficiency is mare advantageous than potential complications. Two hands.
Not much difference indeed since polydactylism does not seem to be selected for. I know, you have no idea what I'm talking about. It's OK, John. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Unless fingers were smaller. Unless fingers were smaller. Why would they be less dense? That who have? Balls again. Evolution does not go for "streamlined efficiency*", it goes for what works. * and you have previously shown that you don't understand the term "efficiency", so stop waffling.
These details are beyond the scope of thread. I was 50-50 on Roswell and now i am 60-40. Hard to get to a hunert right now.
I suppose it would be futile to point out that this logic leads to an optimum solution of four fingers, right? Or is it three? Hmmm...
You have yet to substantiate your claims. And that sentence is irrelevant since the OP was answered on the first page. One more time: with regard to WHAT about Roswell? You appear to "reason" the way a two year-old colours a picture. Never mind the lines, never mind the edges, "I think it looks prettier if I put the colour here".
And your point would be...? YOU have given a specific answer. YOU have made claims that they couldn't look like X or Y. You have yet to substantiate any of these claims. And you have yet to substantiate your claim about endo/ exo skeletons affecting intelligence/ knowledge.
