ok, after i maked before, a thread about, does time exist while i was saying no.
now i would say yes, but not as we understand.
time, is related to the movement and dynamictivity of everything, time as we think it is, a time, or a time line, don't really exist like that, but i think time, or, what we call it time, is just another force, like gravity in space.
for example, if a human, was born in another earth, where it's day, is 1 year on thise earth, when the human in this earth is 1 year old, the other on the other planet, will be 1 day old. so in with the simple understading, it's related to the movement, anyway, a question, while that second earth dya is a year on thise earth, it also have a different size, bigger, and a different gravity, and more moons, does that affect on the growth of the living things on it, or, let's say, the humans that went from this earth to that one, will they grow as if they were on this earth? or according to that earth?

i think time as we think it is, don' exist, imagine if we are expanded on the hall solar system, how will time and clocks work, to orgenize the clocks of the other planets, to this planet, just a if.
also, how does time work??? i don't understand, not the time that you know, but the other time, that if it exist, how does it work? and how does it affect the univerce? and what's it's role?

Time is a duration, the second being the standard unit of measure. The second has nothing to do with the motion of our planet around the sun.

Say you start your stopwatch and a duration later stop it. The duration the stopwatch was on is measured from start to stop. We use a unit of measure known as the second to measure the duration. If you start a stop watch and stop it 3 seconds later, and then I start a stop watch and stop it 3 seconds later, we both measured 3 seconds on the stop watches. Has nothing to do with what time the clock on the wall reads, as you could have started your stopwatch at 12:00:00 and stopped it at 12:00:03, and I could have started it at 12:00:07 and stopped it at 12:00:10. We both measured three seconds, regardless of what time it was when we started and stopped them.

It is exactly the same time in NY and Florida, even though they are 1,000 miles apart! I demand a universal time zone!!! One time zone for the universe! Everyone on the same sheet of music!

i'm not talking about two places on earth, but on different planet, use the clock? that's so incorect, if another planet, it's gravity the double of ours for example, the clock want work the same as it is here, right? well, i think so, right?

and, to say there's one time to the hall univerce, that's also fault, because you didnt pute in consideration the other univerces, gravities, for example if you travel in the speed of light or more, and another one, standing, on the moon, and see an explotion of a ship or a satellitle or whatever, he see it after 1 second from the accident, and the one who's in the light speed, see it 0.5 second later than the other, that's an example, so if time exist and as simple as we think, and as we think, then we should call this, somehing else, but, there's a difference between saying, time, the normal way, or talking scientifcly

if the time is always the same, how can the other one see it later than the other guy?
and why does the time, near the black holes, is slower?

A second is a duration, it doesn't change because a clock ticks slower or faster. If a clock ticks slower or faster that is not a second. A second of duration is not affected by gravity! Clocks might be affected, but that is like saying you are traveling the speed your incorrect speedometer is reading. If your speedometer in your car reads too fast or too slow are you doing the speed it says you are?

The time is the same in NY and Florida. If a light is transmitted from NY at 12:00:00, it would be impossible for the light to arrive in Florida at 12:00:00 or earlier, as change takes time to occur. Regardless if the light traveled 10 billion billion miles per second, the light would still arrive in Florida after 12:00:00

    .

    what about the black holes?

anyway, i don't think i meant that time that we all know, but, i don't know how to say it or explain what i mean

    Time XXI by Khalil Gibran
And an astronomer said, "Master, what of Time?"

    And he answered:

You would measure time the measureless and the immeasurable.

You would adjust your conduct and even direct the course of your spirit according to hours and seasons.

Of time you would make a stream upon whose bank you would sit and watch its flowing.

Yet the timeless in you is aware of life's timelessness,

And knows that yesterday is but today's memory and tomorrow is today's dream.

And that that which sings and contemplates in you is still dwelling within the bounds of that first moment which scattered the stars into space.

Who among you does not feel that his power to love is boundless?

And yet who does not feel that very love, though boundless, encompassed within the centre of his being, and moving not form love thought to love thought, nor from love deeds to other love deeds?

And is not time even as love is, undivided and paceless?

But if in you thought you must measure time into seasons, let each season encircle all the other seasons,

And let today embrace the past with remembrance and the future with longing.

Yes, your question brought his passage into my mind, I hope you do not mind me sharing it for it seems to answer your question on a metaphysical level.

I think what we call time is our exposure to change, which is why it is relative.

A second is the duration it takes for a cesium-133 atom to perform 9192631770 complete oscillations. That duration is, without question, different at different positions within a gravitational field, and also differs according to the relative velocity of different inertial frames. (this has been experimentally verified)

The duration it takes for a cesium-133 atom to perform 9192631770 complete oscillations is called a second, and that duration is the standard second. Once the duration is standardized and called a second it is written in stone. Do you dare say that different durations can all be a second? I mean, a specific duration is just that, it can't be changed.

Of course different durations can all be a second. When comparing durations at different heights in a gravitational field,(or at different relative velocities) 9192631770 oscillations of cesium-133 will take longer at a lower level than a higher one.

Have you ever heard of an obscure theory called Relativity? I suggest you read up on it.

Duration is not an absolute, it is relative.

So in effect, what you are saying is that light traveling in a vacuum will travel ~186,000 miles per 9192631770 oscillations of cesium-133, correct?

    Correct.

Of course, you have to bear in mind that length is relative also.
