Now a list of fifteen examples of extreme left-wing bias and dishonesty with a tiny portion of their despicable lies. Anyone who pretends that there are as many liars on the right as on the left will have to provide a comparable list of conservative liars in the media and dates and expose their lies.



1. "I have been over into the future and it works." - Lincoln Steffans, reporter for the New York Times, in 1931
Steffans knew that Soviet citizens were starving, being murdered, and imprisoned in Gulags by the millions, yet he persisted with this pro-socialist lie. I believe "Useful Idiots" was the term coined by Joseph Stalin for freedom-hating leftists.

2. Walter Duranty won the 1932 Pulitzer Prize for his mendacious reporting of the Soviet Union. "We will never know whether Walter Duranty, the principal New York Times correspondent in the U.S.S.R., ever visited Fediivka. Almost certainly not. What we do know is that, in March 1933, while telling his readers that there had indeed been "serious food shortages" in the Ukraine, he was quick to reassure them that "there [was] no actual starvation." There had been no "deaths from starvation," he soothed, merely "widespread mortality due to diseases from malnutrition." But, unlike Khrushchev, Duranty, a Pulitzer Prize winner, no less, was keeping count — in the autumn of 1933 he is recorded as having told the British Embassy that ten million had died. ** "The Ukraine," he said, "had been bled white," remarkable words from the journalist who had, only days earlier, described talk of a famine as "a sheer absurdity," remarkable words from the journalist who, in a 1935 memoir had dismayingly little to say about one of history's greatest crimes.

3. The New York Times famous black reporter, Jason Blair, had a penchant for things besides "uncovering truth and righting societal wrongs." But then again, the New York Times kept Jason on for months and months despite his lies and plagiarizing for no other reason than he .... was black. But the Times lied about that too, didn't it.

4. Dan Rather didn't just promote The Big Lie about President Bush. He had been pushing his Left Wing agenda for a very long time. Rather went to Baghdad and kissed the ass of Saddam Hussein, addressing the brutal thug, "Respectfully, Mr. President."
Ah yes, how honest it was of Dan to warmly embrace Hussein, who murdered "five to seven million Iraqis, the majority of them Shiites." (National Geographic Magazine, June 2004, Page 28)
Keep in mind this is the same fair and honest Big Money reporter who said that Bill Clinton "kept his campaign promise" when Clinton vetoed the ban on partial birth abortions.

HOWEVER, when President Bush signed that bill into law, as he promised to do in his campaign, Rather called that "pandering to the extreme right wing."
But Rather was just warming up his left-wing extremism. Together in a conspiracy with his colleagues, including Mary Mapes and others, they forged documents to smear President Bush's military record. Even after being exposed, Rather clung to his pathetic and obvious lies, and only reluctantly did he resign in disgrace, while Mapes and her fellow conspirators were fired.

5. Helen Thomas: "I tell you, the woman's a fascist, a fascist, I tell you." - Speaking of Condolleeza Rice

When Barack Obama's campaign manager, Samantha Power, called candidate Hillary Clinton "a monster," she was instantly reviled and she quickly resigned. This never happens to Democrats who call Republicans names.

6. CNN Chief News Executive Eason Jordan publicly accused American troops of murdering journalists, and targeting at least 12 that Jordan knew of. Jordan repeated his assertion several times at the January 27, 2005 World Economic Forum, in Davos, Switzerland. Jordan resigned Friday, February 11, 2005 after unsuccessfully trying to lie his way out of his previous lies.

7. Now let's move on to Walter Cronkite. Walt, a Far Left Leaning Liberal, like you, painted the Vietnam War just the way socialists wanted it painted. He portrayed the Vietnam War as a quagmire. The Tet Offensive, a blistering defeat for North Vietnam, was described as the exact opposite. Breathes there a journalist today who is unfamiliar with the mantra, "We had to destroy the village in order to save it"?
There's just one little problem. No U.S. officer ever said that. It was, like so much in the media, fabricated.

8. +++Six weeks later the bodies of doctors Alois Altekoester, Raimund Discher and Horst-Guenther Krainick and Krainick’s wife, Elisabeth, were found in shallow graves they had been made to dig for themselves.
Then, enormous mass graves of women and children were found. Most had been clubbed to death, some buried alive; you could tell from the beautifully manicured hands of women who had tried to claw out of their burial place. 9. The New York Times leaked intelligence in 2006 of details of the ongoing intelligence program by the CIA and Treasury Department to monitor al Qaeda financial transactions.

10. The New York Times violated several of its own policies when it published the hit piece by MoveOn.org on General Petraeus, the new commander of American forces in Iraq. First, the Times' violated its policy of not publishing personal attacks. Then, the Times violated its policy on not giving discounts to political machines by charging MoveOn.org only $65,000 instead of $180,000 for the full page ad. This is particularly egregious when one considers that MoveOn.org's founder, George Soros, is a billionaire and a socialist. Finally, publisher Arthur Sulzberger, Jr. initially lied about the violations.

11. Newsroom Cheers Rove Departure
"Seattle Times Executive Editor Dave Boardman wrote today in one of his morning notes to staff that there had been ‘an awkward moment at yesterday’s news meeting.’ That’s the meeting where editors and other staff from throughout the newsroom talk about the stories planned for the next day’s paper. Boardman wrote in ‘Dave’s Raves (and the occasional rant)’: ‘When word came in of Karl Rove’s resignation, several people in the meeting started cheering. That sort of expression is simply not appropriate for a newsroom.’ It sounds like a conservative’s parody of how a news meeting would be run." — Seattle Times chief political reporter David Postman in his "Postman on Politics" blog, August 14.

12. Editor Admits to "Blue" Newsroom
"If we wore our politics on our sleeves in here, I have no doubt that in this and in most other mainstream newsrooms in America, the majority of those sleeves would be of the same color: blue. Survey after survey over the years have demonstrated that most of the people who go into this business tend to vote Democratic, at least in national elections. That is not particularly surprising, given how people make career decisions and that social service and activism is a primary driver for many journalists."

Rich Sanchez of CNN lied about President Bush being ignored by European leaders, all of whom supposedly refused to shake President Bush's hand. It never happened, since greetings had previously been exchanged. However Rick Sanchez portrayed things otherwise.

15. Journalism Legend Daniel Schorr Dies At 93

On the eve of the convention that nominated Goldwater, Daniel Schorr of CBS, "reporting" from Germany, said: "It looks as though Sen. Goldwater, if nominated, will be starting his campaign here in Bavaria, center of Germany's right wing" and "Hitler's one-time stomping ground." Goldwater, said Schorr, would be vacationing near Hitler's villa at Berchtesgaden. Schorr further noted that Goldwater had given an interview to Der Spiegel "appealing to right-wing elements in Germany" and had agreed to speak to a gathering of "right-wing Germans." So, "there are signs that the American and German right wings are joining up."
But as Andrew Ferguson of The Weekly Standard has reported, although Goldwater had spoken vaguely about a European vacation (he did not take one), he had not mentioned Germany, and there were no plans to address any German group. Der Spiegel had reprinted an interview that had appeared elsewhere.

Both parties lie, are deceitful, dishonest and hypocritical and the media just follows in their footsteps by being better at it than they are in many instances.

Both parties lie but conservatives lie more because conservatives more intense loyalty makes them less critical of lie that favor their side than the less loyal liberals are to lies that favor their side. Both Liberals and conservatives like being lied to by people telling lies that they like but liberals get uncomfortable and unhappy when it starts becoming blatantly obvious that they are believing a lie and they will start avoiding the people who lied to them while conservatives on the other hand become defensive when it starts becoming blatantly obvious that they are believing a lie and they continue to be loyal to the people who tell them lies that they like even if believing these liars starts to make them look stupid.

No, looking at their Statistics/ posts and threads I see that Galt is very different from this person. This person is a religious conservative. I don't think Galt cares about religion. This person has a much higher thread start to post ratio than Galt. He seems more like Buffalo Roam than Galt but I have no reason to suspect a sock puppet.
