Weary of my frequent herb purchases from the local megamart, I recently decided to just grow a few of my own on my patio.

    Sage, Thyme, Basil.

I'm open to suggestions for other herbs as well. I have a whole 5'x10' of unused patio space to utilize (well, except for the spot where I keep my bike locked to a post).

I'm seriously considering growing some jalapeños in another pot for the bf. Also considering oregano, but I hate rosemary. I need something else.

    You are what you eat.

Plus, I didn't feel like posting the pic in a new thread.

This one seems to meander through various other topics.

    There you have it.

Passport says blue, but they are really blue-gray. I grew a great dirty-blond Scottish beard for the passport, so I can look like an American bastard trying to blend in if I want. Shaved it off because some joker put in some grey.

Cilantro is easy to grow and so is parsley, mint [you get a trailing variety in mint that is very easy to grow] - if its not just culinary herbs you want, you could try some lavender. Chamomile and bergamot make for excellent teas

Just don't grow jalapenos close to bell peppers. I did one year, and they cross-pollinated and the jalapenos were not hot at all...suitable for the elderly and hospital patients.

My uncle grew habaneros in the same planter as bell peppers and the bells ended up being hot.
