The news was yesterday that he got another heart surgery. Here is an expert opinion on it, the media is obviously not telling the truth:

"I'm a surgeon and just read your wire story about Dick Cheney getting a Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD) placed. The story downplays the seriousness of that procedures...once you've got an LVAD in place, it means your heart is essentially incapable of working on its own and has no potential to improve. While LVAD outcomes have been improving, and some patients live months or even years with one of these devices in place, this is a HUGE operation with MAJOR associated morbidity and mortality. If he's not listed for a heart transplant, his days are seriously numbered. Life on an LVAD isn't something I'd wish on my worst enemy...an axiom that this situation really tests. He's in for a rough time."

    -------------------------

Cheney is easily the most evil American politican of the last 50 years, including McCarthy. I can't express the feelings that's overcoming me.

Oh yes, I wish he still survives a few more years, incapacitated...

I hope he lives long enough to go to prison.

    This and that

In truth, if it is his time, I hope he dies comfortably. There will be no justice for his victims in this world; petty vengeance and hatred won't keep me warm on winter nights. To the other, people like Cheney sometimes make me wish there really was a God Who Judges on High; I would like to hear how that conversation goes.

In the American ethos, monsters of Cheney's breed don't go to prison. Even if we went forward from day one, with all the evidence we needed to convict him, it is doubtful we could see him put away even if he lived a thousand years. Arguments and appeals about the various golden shields and good faith and who thought they were doing what could carry on forever without any substantial resolution.

I really don't see him dying, I see him slowly integrating cyborg parts into his body much in the same way as the Borg.

Cheney won't go to prison - even though he should. More than likely he'll call in a favor and some young healthy marine in his early 20s suddenly disappears in Iraq - the heart is harvested and the other organs are sold off at a tidy profit. Maybe he'd keep the skull on his night stand as a candle holder?

Cheney's expensively and extensively lengthened life may be one of the few telling arguments against socialized medicine.

But if it keeps him alive long enough for us to take a few depositions under oath, more the better.

Yes, because asking just a little bit of justice would be pitiful...

I can understand not wanting him to suffer much, but comfortably???? Anyway, you go back where you belong on Ignore....

Oh yes, and I probably should point out that you want guilty people to suffer by living in prisons until they die, so why a comfortable death for a very guilty and despisable asshole? Well, I didn't expect consistency from you...

P.S.: By the way it is called KARMA, beeatch....

A couple of things you might eventually want to get around to learning about

Strange how often you take me off ignore. One might think you do it for the petty pleasure of telling me you're ignoring me.

I have no problem with Cheney rotting in prison if we can get him. However, I don't think we can. What we want and what reality allows are often different things. I think you will find much value in the idea once you learn it.

Karma is rarely, if ever, so direct. People tend to treat it quite simplistically. But whether we consider biblical divine justice, Buddhist karma, or even something so modern as the Wiccan Threefold Law, the underlying process is something far more complex than mere satisfaction. Cheney likely won't live to reap the karmic return of his actions as vice-president, as genuine karmic effects represent religious or psychospiritual interpretations of the observable interconnectedness of all things. In other words, what goes around comes around, and karma, as such, need not take it out specifically on the guilty; it can hurt the guilty by hurting others around him.

    Telling.
Ignore is for whiny bitches, in my humble opinion.
And yes, it seems like when one party has another party on ignore, they somehow still seem to read and argue with them and remind them why they're on ignore.

The dead do not deserve any respect, the living do. Well.. some of them anyway (people-wise).

I am not afraid to show my feminine side from time to time.

Now certain people I have on Ignore for years, but from time to time I make an exception when there is a thread that I started or such. That being said, I usually end up regreting making the exception.

Otherwise anybody who is wishing Cheney a comfortable death is a farking moron. And don't even get me started on justice....

Ay. I understand that feminine is first nature to you. I could be mistaken.

Oh, shite. Exterface. I realise I was the last person leave a message on your profile. Yikes!

And what causes one to put another on Ignore for years? I have never felt the need to do so.

He strikes me as particularly callous. I don't generally revel in someone's demise, though. Hmm.

Al Gore's indiscretion though. Now that's funny!

see? We all regret something here on Sci... By the way I don't care for that feature and generally prefer people not to use it.

To try to avoid regrets, what else? And the continuous usage of this website by those 2 people, obviously....

But I dare you to debate a moderator. It is like boxing with one hand tied behind your back. Try it...

Now I have others whom I just avoid in certain areas. For example Sam is on my Ignore, but as long as it is not Religion or Politics related, I probably read what she has to say.

But how do you feel when a criminal gets just punishment? By the way they are all subjective words what both you and Tiassa used (revel, pitiful) and not really an objective argument, just so you know.

Are you happy when a good deed gets recognized and prized? I assume you do. So why shouldn't you feel the same for the opposite, when a bad deed gets punished? You can throw around words like revel and such, but that doesn't make the feeling inferior in anyway.

Man, I started to be like Tiassa, writing a fucking novel for an answer. If I start to use different type of fonts with footnotes, somebody just SHOT ME!!!

P.S.: I have read more than 1000 posts on Reddit about Cheney's surgery, not one said such a stupid wish that he deserves a comfortable death.

What feeling are you talking about?
If a mad animal kills several people would you wish him tortured or simply put to rest as quickly as possible?

Just look at the phrase: "Eye for an eye"..To me it implies no difference between the assailant and server of justice.

And he can take a flying leap in a single bound

Interesting. Most people call the police, or an ambulance, or something like that. I guess if you're a super-hero with amazing Reddit powers, you sit down and write a post.

just remember even if he did go to prison he wouldn't be locked up with murders he'd be in some cushy minimum security white collar republican prison.
