This really demonstrates your stupidity. Idiot, if a country is an island nation and they want to expand their empire they can't do so without a strong navy. For a continental power with continental goals the onus is on the strength of ground and air forces.

It was Hitler's desire to establish Großdeutschland or "Greater Germany", he wanted to annex the German speaking lands as well as Poland and Ukraine for Lebensraum or "Living Space" for the German people, tell me and please try to utilize every fragment of your enormous intellect, did he need a strong navy to succeed in these goals?

Japan however wanted to expand it's empire into China and South East Asia, requiring it to focus more on it's navy than it's ground forces due to fact it is a island nation and all islands are surprisingly, surrounded by a large body of water.

Flakey, not once have you indicated that you know anything other than the very basics
    of the pacific war.

Thirty million people killed still far outnumbers the Nazi kill streak

But Germany had to compete with britain so the argument can be made that would force them to have to put something of a focus on their navy

Flakey the first thing I want to teach you is the fundamental difference between the Nazis and the Japanese.

The Nazis wanted to kill a lot of people as quickly as possible either through labor Or extermination.

The way the Japanese saw it, if you are going to kill someone why not have a little fun while your at it?

Are they getting it over with as quickly as possible in this image?

Do you have any idea who Josef Mengele was? How about the atrocities committed by the Einsatzgruppen?

It would take decades for Germany to build a surface navy able to defeat the RN, so they generally focused on less resource heavy unconventional naval warfare in the form of U-Boats.

Edit: And let me add that Britain was never Hitler's primary goal, in fact he was convinced that Germany should form an alliance with Britain, an idea that he held on till the late stages of the war. This was the primary motivation behind his order to spare the retreating British troops in Dunkirk and allow them to evacuate, he thought that this gesture of good will would convince the British people that Germany was not their enemy.

Im Jewish god damnit flakey, trust me I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THE F*CK THE NAZIS DID. I have an aunt that lived through the f*cking thing, trust me I KNOW! My great grandfather walked down a street in Russia to his home when he passed by his friend, his friend had his skull cracked open and was lying on the side of the f*cking road. Trust me, I know what the f*ck happened to the Jews. And as such I can tell you as a fact that what the Japanese did was just as bad if not worse.

So you admit that in that one massive respect the Japanese were far superior to the Germans.

Well the first thing you have wrong is your reading comprehension. I said you dont know jack s*** about the war, what you do know is correct. But than again, I had already known about that stuff by the time I entered middle school. The fact is your knowledge in the Pacific is lacking in every single respect.

Earlier I had asked you. what do the army and the navy see when they gaze upon heaven's scenes?

The answer lies in the last lines of the Marine's hymn.

"When the army and the navy gaze upon heaven's scenes, they see the streets are guarded by United States Marines."

Hell, there is not one thing you have said that indicated to me that you know anything other than the war was between the US and Japan and the islands and nations of the south Pacific.

Right.... than explain to me the bombing of Britain?

Germany was not that stupid. The British had come to the aid of Belgium before, what was to stop them from doing it again? Especially after France lost.

Germany had assault ships lined up on it's shores for quite a while for the invasion of Britain. Britain was always a major goal of Hitler. Do you really delude yourself into thinking it wasn't?

What the hell are you talking about? What's a hymn got to do with anything.

Other than that you are not being specific, you keep telling me that I know nothing about the war but you fail to elaborate on what it is exactly I've been so wrong about.

The problem with you Flakey is that you fundamentally do not know nearly enough about the Pacific war to make the blatant generalization that you are making. You do not even know the major combatants at any level. Do you know why Japan was pissed at the west?!?

Do you know why to this day china is pissed at the west?

Or why Korea is especially pissed at Japan??

Do you know what happened to grand admiral Yamamoto?

Do you know what the term "The rabbit is still in the hat." refers to?

I could list about 100 questions of which I am willing to wager you could not answer more than 5.

Because flakey, if you knew enough about the Pacific to make your conclusion than you would know what the question refers to. It the Marine's hymn, "from the halls of Monctezuma" that refers to a major amphibious operation on Mexico in which the marines rewrote the book on modern amphibious warfare.

Flakey, the big battles only define so much, you can only learn 10% about a war from the major battles. You do not even know that 10% well and you are trying to make blanket statements when somebody with 75% of the knowledge necessary couldn't even succesfully do it.

Flakey, write in a list what you know about the Pacific war.

"A lot" The Japanese killed 20 million F*CKING chinese. That not a lot, thats not even a genocide, thats complete obliteration. And those were just the Chinese. You toss around "a lot" like it's only a million or two. 20 million is a damned genocide several times over.

This can be a response to your previous post as well.

It is not required of me to know about every bit of esoteric trivia in the Pacific War to have an overarching understanding of the scale and intensity of the conflict. Why is it of any relevance to quote a hymn? It's not an integral piece of history by any means.

Just as I do not need to spend 10 years of my life reading through every holy book on the planet to be aware that there are better options to explain and understand the universe we live in.
