Woke up to an earth quake this a.m. in IL!

There have been SO many bigger quakes since I started this thread. Just had a 4.5 in CA. My neighbors in Malibu felt their house shift. Damn. Interstate 5 buckled.
Chile just had a 6.7

 

All planes have been grounded in Britain due to dust from Eyjafjallajokull Volcano.
Never heard of that happening before.

There does seem to be a lot of earthquakes and stuff this year.

 

I was in a 7.2 in CA over my Easter vacation. It was cool.

 

I would like that too, so long as I wasn't trapped under a rock

I've changed my mind on earthquake frequency.
I feel sure there's an unusual amount of geological activity so far this year.
I've got no statistics. Just judging from TV reports.

We were supposed to have a sunny day today, but the sky is completely grey,
All the same shade.

And that Eyjafjallajokull volcano looks like Heyell ! That fire coming over the hill looks like the devil's horns to me.

 

It seeems as though they certainly are.

Yeah, that, too. The fireball thing was a little more awesome than the two quakes I've been in. The IL quake was wimpy compared to the CA one.

 

Now there's fireballs in Iowa.

I see a plane in the picture. What a view the pilot must have had!
I bet the people who didn't have window seats, or were on the wrong side of the plane were miffed.

damn right there having steady minor quakes around there, that place is ready to blow, i have my wind, solar, green house ready to go, this shit is going to be nasty.
