Star Wars vs Star Trek

Actually, around page 500 or so the criteria was changed because of the fact that trying to encompass everything from every point in time was not only fruitless, but pointless - it just didn't make sense, and there was too much to analyze.

We're also SUPPOSED to be leaving out things such as the Q, Star Forge, Doomsday Device, and other "super-over-the-top" things that are instant I-Win buttons for the other side. However, that seems to keep... not happening...

I know, a class 0.3 (Millenium Falcon) is the fastest known. However in Warp, 9 (never knew about 10) is faster than 1. I have a copy of the guide to vehicles and vessels which tells you each ships class hyperdrive. Is hyperspace faster or sllower than lightspeed?

Watch Voyager, DS9 or the later movies... TNG is one of my least-favorite series BECAUSE it's so docile... DS9 has some amazing scenes that show the power of even older Fed Starships

I haven't said Wars has no advantages... in fact, it has many. Just as Trek has many.

However, people like Ricery like to pull shit out of thin air and it just... well, it all but drives me to drink!

 

A LOT FASTER!!! C ( the symbol for lightspeed ) is slow in Star Wars.

Actually... Warp 9 isn't faster than hyperspace... Warp 9.98 is just about on par with it.

However, Trek DOES have Quantum Slipstream and Transwarp to it's advantage.

I meant meters, 6,300-10,000 meters. Which is still massively superior to almost anything in ST. Add in the rulebook says one lance (lasers which Trekkers DESPISE) can vaporize a 6,000 km moon. Well, that's what I heard.

And the clearly superior Necrons (who use Dyson Spheres as common constructions on every star they own), would be assimilated? They are controlled by C'Tan, so, no. Necrodermis also allows them to teleport away if they aren't resistant (they are resistant), and what happens when an armada of planet sized World Engines start destroying their planets? Borg will NOT adapt to tech they are billions of years behind.

Let's see, Imperium loses to Galactic Empire, most races are too small or weak to stand up to the Imperium, and Tyranids are slow, Orks are living on a dangerously exploitable monarch level, and Necrons haven't begun to harvest the galaxy (and then some). Warhammer 40,000 has more story than Trek but less than Wars.

I saw half of the Voyager series. I liked it a heckuva lot better than TNG. Haven't seen DS9 yet. I liked Voyager for the action....... and Seven of Nine
