After viewing further discussion in the Abortion threads, I can only say that my opinions are vindicated. Men in these discussions, such as LightGigantic and Madanthonywayne, take a logical, matter-of-fact approach to the issue. Women respond with emotion, misrepresentations and outrage.

Actually, I find that almost every pro-choicer argues from emotion and engages in misrepresentation. This is hardly a surprise, as many of them are liberals, who tend to suffer from pathological dishonesty.

Or you could simply report posts that violate the rules.

There is no way to discussion ethical issues in a scientific manner. Not the core issue. Values are outside of science. As far as I could tell no one in that thread was impartial.

By the way, I thought this portion was unintentionally ironic. It is as if one hasn't yet noticed the particular way they are invested that men are not.

    Is it liberals or women?

First post I looked at from lightgigantic had this

condescension is a way for one person to appear objective while attacking. What I learn from this is the women, or the liberals, or whoever it is who is irrational, should be more cagey in expressing their emotions, and mainly try to trigger others.

But really mordea's whole idea is so confused. The very idea that one can logically, scientifically reach a decision about abortion is illogical. And I think this is part of the problem

First there was a transcendent God who told women they could not abort.
Now there is transendent reason that does this.

The latter with faulty analogies that seem logical to very mental, detached and confused minds who think they have worked out why they should control women's bodies.

People can be calm, and make what they think are reasonable statements and be totally irrational.

Please review all of the current abortion threads. You will find that every woman on there has reacted to logical argumentation from pro-lifers with misrepresentations, over-simplifications, appeals to emotion, and outrage. Indeed, the first thing that usually comes out of a woman's mouth whenever they respond to a pro-lifer is "How dare you tell me what to do with my body!"

Such arguments from emotion and outrage are not scientific.

I have found that women (and men who are pussy-whipped/feminised) often adopt a viewpoint that lacks logic and is strong on emotion, demagoguery and deception (aka. liberalism).

I don't agree with Mordeas points and I made that clear earlier.

However, after a complete breakdown of an altercation between myself and Bells, I can see why he MIGHT say some of what he says.

It's not easy to sit here and back someone I disagree with.

All the same, I've debated all manner of woo woo's and nutjobs in Conspiracy theories etc for years. I'm used to their tactics. Many of them get pretty low and dirty. My posts stand for my anger management.

Yet, I'm of the opinion that Bells has No Business Whatsoever discussing the topic of abortion.
Her tactics are downright Dishonest, manipulative and appalling.
My own temper flared up enough that I WILL probably be getting infractions. But I will not go changing the record.

I would not have believed it myself if I had not experienced it first hand.

Did you mention that was posted to Signal who said this?

It is people with a mentality like yours, that "I have the right to do with my body whatever I want" that have brought this planet into the state of complete crisis that it is in - social, economical, ethical, philosophical, ecological. And we all suffer from that.

I have the right to clean air and fresh water, for example, but people with a mentality like yours, that "I have the right to do with my body whatever I want" have denied me that right by "doing with their bodies whatever they liked" for so long that they polluted the environment and produced a chaotic society.

A person cannot simply do with their body whatever they want without thereby affecting the bodies of others.

People with a mentality like yours have stigmatized and pathologized celibacy and abstinence, for example. You are thereby denying them the right to do with their bodies as they see fit."

    http://www.sciforums.com/showthread.php?t=100650&page=18

Now how is that for utter rubbish and hysterics! A woman who has an abortion is now responsible for the polluted environment

That was as woo woo as it gets!

So LG why did you pipe in with your idiotic statements? You're just a judgmental fool who thinks his Kundalini has risen when its coiled tightly at the bottom of your ass!!! If you aren't careful you'll shit it out all together

What do you know of whores? I would have thought you didn't ejaculate at all since you would be wasting all that 'life sperm' not that I could even see a whore wanting to sully herself with it.

Insult your genealogy? Sorry I don't think of you that much.

How's the view from up on that cross?

Well, I'm trying to not start handing out flags in that one. It could get colorful real quick, though.

To the other, I'll likely soon be aborting that thread. I'll be picking through the detritus later today, and the only prediction I can make is that there is a good chance I'll be laughing as I lock it down.

Okay, okay, truth told, I already am.

    Flip a coin

Interestingly, our friend Neverfly just asked a pertinent question in another thread: "Why should posters bother with such non serious arguments?"

And yet, as this thread reminds, we do. Neverfly included. I can't figure out where the wisdom lies in that one. Flip a coin.
