What colour is the sky. Blue or Cyan?

I say cyan, a combination of green and blue light. Why do we call cyan blue, why cant we print true blue?

    It changes..

Sometimes its red...sometimes its purple...sometimes light blue...or cyan...or dark, dark blue...sometimes clouds cover it with fluffy white or dim gray...everynow and then rainbows appear...

There is no 1 color that governs or supercedes the others...

For blue is without green and cyan is loaded with green. Like yellow is red and green, and red is without green. The sky is cyan not blue.

    RGB
    Cyan 0 1 1

Yes. It says so in the Koran, the Bible, the Magna Carter and the US Constitution. And its also etched in stone on the Temple of David.

That only means something for monitor screens and light mixtures, it doesn't apply to the final spectrum as it is received by the eyes. Pigments don't mix the same as light, and light isn't always a composure of mixtures...the waves themselves have either one value or another when isolated..

So funny, but why call cyan blue when its as different from blue as yellow is from red.

Then we'd be calling it "different from blue as yellow is from red" and thats a mouthful. So cyan blue it is.
