I was thinking of flag-waving hypocrites taking advantage of the Federation.

good point. But when encounters with the Borg are concerned, you have to do damage INTERNALLY

To fight them, even at a distance, would be futile. (hey I made a funny without realizing it!

In rare cases there are moments like when Picard still had knowledge of a very important area on the cubes (coordinates) where weapons fire can be concentrated. Or Seven of Nine's knowledge

Sometimes it's just a matter of luck like the upgrades to Voyager (the ones from the future.

I really think the Federation should start training Special Operations troops. I have never seen special forces in Star Trek before. They training the Republic Commandos got was too intense, it was too much, it was overkill. I agree with what Walon Vau said in the Republic Commandos series "My company's casualty rates are the lowest, that's because I made them into survives, while yours became weaklings. Kal, I did that to them because I cared." That wasn't an exact quote, I typed it from memory. Walon Vau was one of the toughest training sergeant in the Cul'vay Dar ( training sergeants recruited bu Jango Fett ), and a lot of people hated him, because they thought he hated the commandos. Even Kal Skirata, the kindest sergeant taught them the dirty tricks of black-ops and molded them into survivors.

they do still explore, the unknown region was huge area almost totally unexplored! but it was slow, because travel in it was limited due to unknown phenomenons!

and again, the evidence you gave is not conclusive!

One of the good sides of having a clone army is that things like that won't happen. ( At least not to the clones, but the "normal" commanders have traitors among them )

17 and in grade 9? Anyways, age does make a slight difference in experience. I overcome some my lack of experience with my love for learning, and books.

P.S. Its spelled does not dose, I used to make the same mistake a year ago. Dose is used as in a dose of medicine and such its quantity.

age is relative only if you behave like you'll age.

I bet there is a lot of people your age here as well, me, Omega and George are the younger generation of Star Wars fans. Anyways, I don't like the term "acting you age", I prefer "being your age". Acting is when you are pretending to be something your not.
