with all that due-pleated uranium sitting around on the sand in iraq it might be quiet cheap.

no point in using solar energy as that's far too sensible and long term.
they need something that will help add value to martyring and the long term repression of women.

You can't run construction equipment on batteries.

    .

yeah, tht's an exellent idea for the future water sources,
and it's nto a bad idea, solar energy, they have too many sun light, they can make solar panels, on each roof, and on some wals of some buildings, like windows, i saw a new kind of windows, that can produce energy from the sun, it's a normal window, but, it produce electicity, propably roof gardens, under those solar panels on the roof, would be an exelent idea,
there's also a new technology, to send some kidna of atelites with mirrors, to produce power, from the sun lights, then, send them to earth, (the electrity or the energy i mean) Japan have a program to do it

I hear its not very cost effective to desalinate, one of the reasons why the Sauds are outsourcing agriculture. Why is that?

Its not cost effective because there is little infrastructure built, its a catch 22.

Because they would have to buy their solar panels from the infidels.

they already use that tecknique in agriculture, it's also used in the past

Probably the future of the middle east desert is a nuclear glass plain.

How's that working in Dubai? I think this is another case of techno-triumphalism, born from 50 years of dirt cheap energy. We won't be engaged in as many monumental engineering projects in the future.

do you mean the tekink of oasis, it's used from a very old times, in tunisia south, cause it's a desert there, also in some places in egypte, also, in saudi arabia, it's even used in the ancient ages, and it's very usefull for such areas,
yumi, i love the palm's fruit, you know, the palms of teh desert, i don't know it's english name,
