The mystery is far from being solved, but the metephorical meaning is enough for me. Besides, the more we learn, the more questions their are. The mystery is always ongoing. Scientific theories are based on facts, however we don't have enough facts to complete anything, so scientists try to make the most logical assumptions after the facts run out. Their are not enough concrete facts in science to fully explain anything. Their are enough facts to give some insight, but their is not enough evidence to complete any of the stories when we only use science and facts. Reminds me of the 'Based on true events' movies, many of those movies are full of things that are not part of the true events!

My A Level Philosophy and Religious ethics teacher is a Catholic Archdeacon. He claims logical and empirical evidence are different. Would you agree? If so, how can you assure that what seems logical to you will in fact concur with what we can observe using our eyes, ears, nose, and mouth? When it comes to theists and their "proof" of God, never have I been shown empirical evidence, at least none that is conclusive, that cannot be refuted.
i have observed evidence of that kind, but it's subjective. people just don't see things the same way, even with eyes or microscopes. they attribute differently. in regards to catholicism, i was referring to all of the miracles they've documented.
I teach myself, but I take guidance when I see it, if i think it suites me. But I try to understand as much as I can about everything, even the stuff that I didn't need for me to find my way. I didn't need religion to find my way, I just needed respect and love for everything, and forgiveness for myself. But I do see metephorical truth, symbolic meaning, and spiritual guidance in all religions. All these positive things with religion(s) are spiritual and therefor they do not foccus on physical evidence. Science is in charge of the physical stuff. Religion(s) are just one of many ways to discover and express your spirituality. What Lori finds in God, I find in myself. I know a native elder that finds things in everything (wind, sun, animals - especially birds, stars, night, water, land, the list goes on). Einstein found what he needed in absurd possibilities. Some find what they need in something else. Their are many forms of spirituality. Their is not just one way to find what you need. None of the ways are right or wrong, just different. But all the paths need to find Love and Respect for everything, as well as Forgiveness for yourself.
Good. Now the most imporant part. Do you learn anything from these mistakes, if ever to happen again, you would be knowledgeable enough to not make the same mistake twice?
Most of the forgiveness I needed for myself, came from the mistakes I made when I was blind, ignorant, and lost. I kinda get what your saying clue, If you're just doing what you think is best, and if you don't blame yourself for your mistakes in the first place, as long as you are still accountable for yourself, I can see your side of not needing forgiveness. However, I don't know anyone that hasn't acted on greed, or selfishness at least a few times, so I don't know anyone that doesn't need at least a touch of forgiveness for themselves. If your really so good hearted that you've always acted out of good intentions, and always took responsibility for your own actions, well my friend, you would be what my deffinition of a 'Saint' is. It's hard to say. I have not made many mistakes ever since I have been more aware. I never really find my self in the same situation twice, ever really. I always move forward. I always change. I wake up everyday as if I was reborn.
Its not so much that i always do what i thank is bes... i jus dont "blame" myself for doin thangs in which i had no choise (which is never)... an as far as bein "acountable for myself"... i have no choise in that ether.!!! Well... i thank ever thang i do is for "selfish" reasons... an thats jus somptin else i dont "beat-myself-up" over... lol.!!! Then i dont qualify for "Santhood"... lol... sinse what i do is for selfish reasons... an the responsibility i take for my actons is imposed... not my choise.!!!
I don't believe you, but I respect your belief because I would like people to respect mine. You're a decent fellow =)
We always have a choice. Most of the time our choices have multiple answers too! As for accountability, you'd be suprised how many people that don't take responsibility for their own actions, they just redirect blame to something else! Life is full of choices. Our choices in life is what defines us. If everything you do is for selfish reasons, then one day you will seek forgiveness. So remember this, forgiveness comes from within. People talk alot about a savior, but the only one that can save you, is you. For those that do believe in a savior, the savior is a part of them, so they really are still trying to save themselves, they just have a different interpretation of how. I don't think anyone qualifies for 'sainthood'. We all have a saint and a sinner in us, and we all use both sides. But when are mistakes are made with good intentions, when we take full responsibility for ourselves, and when we Love and respect it all freely; That is the time we are letting the saint in us out! We all make mistakes, even the saints have flaws, they are just more aware. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!.
That's the most important part. You don't need to believe the same as me, I know the possibilities are endless between extremes. Their are many different roads to salvation. But the Love and Respect is something we all should be able to give to everyone! I don't get why this is so difficult for the closed minds to recognize. All the conditional love that provides hate to those not part of the conditions, and all the disrespect people throw at eachother could be eliminated with a simple change of mind set! I've seen the future, and I know one day man will Love and respect freely, I just want to see the transformation first hand! Maybe I push too much, but I really don't know what to do to help make my dream a reality. I know actions speak loader then words, but I don't know what actions to take, and I got so many words to share, and I enjoy sharing. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
