This poll is only for those who made the choice themselves, goes for men and women. How many people whos genitals were intact and didnt require this for medical reasons chose to be cirumsised? for the sake of simplicity we will use the 2 equivlant "procidures", ie removal of the forskin and removal of the skin protecting the clitorious (the 2 most common forms)
Apparently this can be done, well it's more like creating a new one from whatever the fuck is left of the old one but involves some clothes pegs, some fishing sinkers and a moderate amount of agony. For the record, I didn't vote 'cos I don't but I do have my original sock and will keep it that way. it's served me well.
Circumcised men have less sensation. actually i didnt even think of that, the reason i put other is that MGM ranges from "cirumcision" right through to castration (though unless you were transgender i cant understand why anyone would do that)
I made a wrong decision when it comes to this. I have 2 boys and we got the first one circumcised and it was horrible. They put this ring around the top of his penis very tightly and that would stay on for a week until the skin fell off. Everytime he peed he screamed and he was not a fussy baby at all. It was heart wrenching to me, because it must have hurt a lot. So the second time around I had another C-Section and I was feeling like crap. My other son had to stay in the hospital a little longer because he had gotten fluid in his lungs. I told my husband that if he wanted it done he would have to take him this time because I couldn't go through that again. We waited a while and then decided not to do it. It was a mistake IMO now. He had a few infections when he was little and it swelled up and he was in a lot of pain. He took antibiotics and it went away. My other son had nothing like that. The skin around the top of his penis is very tight as well and my Dr said hopefully it loosens up, because you can't pull the skin down easily. Well that really didn't happen either. I am afraid that he is going to have to have something done in the future. I wish now I would have just bit the bullet and got him done too.
Jesus Shorty between you and the quack you don't know much. The infections...you have to wsash it, you know peel it back and wash it. Oh, it just twigged for me, the entire reason for circumcision is that parents can't/won't help their infant sons wash their dicks. Circumcision is plain stupid, unless of course you can't bear to wash the little guy's willy. Oh Shame! And the doctor, he should know that the adhesion of the foreskin to the glans will release all of its own accord, especially when the little chap gets a bit older and has raging erections every few hours.
Ummm we helped and taught him about the washing. My doctor is not an idiot. I mean his skin is REALLY TIGHT, and she is hoping that it will release itself but it may not, he is turning 9 soon. She said there are many men that have this problem that weren't circumcised and that sometimes they do need to seek a medical solution to the problem.
ask bells shorty, her son had a similar problem for all of about 2 months. but for the sake of argument lets look at your example. lets say 1 in 100 people are born with deformed arms that need to be removed, is it then a sensable propersition to suggest EVERYONES arms should be removed because of a 1:100 chance that theres will need to be?
Like I said wash the little peni. If you don't brush your teeth, you will lose them. If you don't wash the penis you may get an infection but at least you'll still have your foreskin.
I am not telling anybody what they should or shouldn't do. I am just telling you my experience with the whole thing. When I see the problems that my youngest one has had vs my older one not having any, If I could go back in time I would have circumcised him as well.
What makes you so sure you will loose your teeth if you dont brush them? Might not be worth the trouble though.
If the worst thing that happens to youir penis is that you get an infection, lifes not too bad. If the worst thing that happens to your penis is that some bumbling old fart starts chopping off the most precious bit, the bit that peels back at the critical moment to let it slide unencumbered into a tight vagina, without your own consent, then you've been circumcised. End of conversation people!
