Seriously, Vis, you should stop taking that much caffeine. It's really hard on your kidneys.

ON average I drink 4 cups of coffee a day, it's pretty much the minimum I can function on (at this stage) 2 cups by 8am, one at 10am and one at 3pm.

Kidneys, why? Does it put stress on them to have to filter all that caffeine out?

You're talking to an ex-caffeine junkie

    Adrenal Exhaustion
Caffeine consumption leads to eventual adrenal exhaustion which can leave you vulnerable to a variety of health disorders related to inflammation, autoimmunity, and fatigue.
    Aging

Many people find in their forties that they can no longer tolerate the same level of caffeine consumption as they could in their twenties and thirties. The production of DHEA, melatonin, and other vital hormones start to decline and caffeine speeds up that downhill drop. Caffeine dehydrates the body and contributes to the aging of the skin and kidneys. It has been shown to inhibit DNA repair and slow the ability of the liver to detoxify foreign toxins.

    Exhausted Adrenal Glands
Caffeine is a central nervous system stimulant. It causes the adrenal glands to secrete adrenaline, the hormone your body depends on in emergencies to elevate your heart rate, increase your respiration and blood pressure for a rapid flight-or-fight response. When you overuse stimulants, the adrenals become exhausted. If your caffeine sensitivity has diminished or you're one of those who claims you can drink 3 shots of espresso and go right to sleep, guess what? Your adrenals have given up responding. This means you have less resistance to stress, which leaves you vulnerable to health hazards such as environmental pollutants and disease pathogens

    Another one:
Caffeine works by stimulating heart and the nervous system and causes messages to be translated and conveyed more quickly. Caffeine addictions are basically addictions to these stimulants which temporarily over activate our nervous system. On the other hand caffeine addictions put a lot of burden on our kidneys, stomach and make the digestion system less effective by relaxing the muscles of intestine.

It makes blood sludgy as it raises the level of fatty acids in the blood, raises blood pressure as it dehydrates the body and causes stomach to produce more acid. When a person suffering from caffeine addictions tries to quit it i.e. caffeine he goes through a pain of experiencing all these at once and that too at a higher degree.

I don't think I have that; at least, my adrenals seem to be pumping out liquid nitrogen right now.

And I'm overheated, but my skin is actually very cold on the surface. Like Edward Cullen, but female

I have shitty resistance to stress, though. Just dealing with lots of stimuli kicks the shit out of me.

    I should definitely cut down.

You may not have that now, but you could develop it in a few years.

Yeah, I'm definitely gonna cut down. I would rather those glands didn't melt from over-use. I kind of need them

That's a substantial cut back - there was a time when I virtually drank coffee the way chain smokers smoke. I was permanently wired.

These days, I've cut back to the bear minimum I need to be able to function (still some days there simply isn't enough caffiene available for me), and no caffiene after about 5.30pm

Well I have been doing drugs most of my life, apart from being a little eccentric and turning atheist they've not really done me any harm - but I just want to say stay in school and don't do drugs

Just finished reading that article, in all honesty I've never read so much rubbish in my life, I know for a fact when he talks about LSD that is complete BS, when LSD was first synthesized, it was given to patience who were mentally disturbed and I don't know of a single case where any of the patience had long-term effects, this dude is just clearly has an agenda

At work, I know a girl who drinks 8 cups of coffee a day, and a guy who drinks coffee as if he drinks water. They both look extremely pale & exhausted.

I drink about 3 cups a day, too, like Trippy, but only on working days. In the weekend, can't touch coffee.

Now that you mention it, I generally endeavour to avoid coffee on the weekends, and those weekends that I do consume, I generally have about half what I do during the week.

I'd also agree with DMT being the most powerful. It utterly changes the world in front of you. I've done it.

The strongest drug I have tried so far is LSD, but I hear its kiddie stuff compared to DMT, which is on my things to try before I die list.
