Erectile dysfunction is usually not erectile dysfunction and can often be directly linked to stress. HSDD might be similar, especially if you desired sex at one time and now find that you don't. If you're constantly thinking about how you're going to pay your mortgage or whatever you have to do at work the next day, even when you aren't thinking about it, stress still wears your body and mind out.

I think, after reading all the responses, it's practically unanimous that masturbating is far better than sex with a partner!

But that's okay, ....it took me years to figure out that my hand (or a milk bottle full of warm liver) was far, far better fucking a woman!

    Sex

It is sad to me that everyone forgets to keep life in order. Develop a relationship first and then the sex is great. Have sex first and try to develop a relationship after that = crapy sex. it is simple.

I wouldn't mind having that disorder. Having an overly high sex drive sucks too..

(Sorry if that was too much information..)

I hope you aren't serious. If so, that's the silliest thing I've ever heard of.

LoL, but which of those would you prefer, if you had to choose only one, to the exclusion of the rest?

Of course lack of desire is only a problem for the partner. Other than that it would be a positive.

Lest this post be classified as trolling, please answer the following questions:
    • What is your source of data indicating that the percentage of feminists is increasing? I observed the peak of feminism in the 1970s. Since then considerable progress has been made toward equal rights for women, although much remains to be accomplished.
    • What is your source of data indicating that the percentage of lesbians is increasing? Our society is more tolerant of homosexuality today, and especially female homosexuality, which is on TV, our bellwether. It stands to reason that lesbians we never knew about are coming "out of the closet."
    • Why do you conclude that feminists suffer from sexual dysfunction at a greater rate than the general population? Just because a woman won't have sex with you doesn't mean she'd be unwilling to do it with someone more mature.

    • Why do you conclude that lesbians suffer from sexual dysfunction at a greater rate than the general population? The definition of a lesbian is a woman who is sexually attracted to women, not a woman who has no sex drive at all.
Yes but that's analogous to rubbing a penis. A woman needs to be in the right state of mind before you can touch her clitoris and expect to get your hand back with all five fingers still attached. The libido has to be somewhat aroused before intimate physical contact is pleasurable. But quite the contrary, you could give a hand job to a man while standing in line at the bank and he wouldn't complain.
Of course there is a physical component to female sexuality. But it's an unusual woman who can be raised from a state of I-just-cleaned-up-cat-barf-absolute-zero-arousal by physical contact alone.

The exact opposite is the case with men. You have to make him stop to wash the cat barf off his hands.
Both women and men are frightened of uninvited sexual advances by a man. In men that comes across as homophobia (literally "fear of sex with a person of the same gender," not "hatred of homosexuals"), whereas in women it's just perfectly understandable fear of being raped. Neither women nor men feel that way about uninvited sexual advances by a woman. Almost every man would get a kick out of it, even if he decided to turn her down. Women aren't that sanguine, but generally being kissed or casually rubbed by another woman doesn't make them scream, call the cops and take a shower with OxyClean. If it's a friend they'll usually either ignore it or laugh it off. Look at all the actresses who are willing to kiss each other on camera. The last man who did that committed suicide. (I'm sure it was a coincidence but it was startling.)

Women don't have "fear of sex with a person of the same gender." Men do.
That depends on age. Our bodies break down in strange ways as we get older. If it's something they can fix with a pill we don't even complain.
Oh dude, it's not that simple. I lived through the 1960s and 70s. It depends a lot on cultural standards. Back then casual sex was accepted--even expected. Occasionally you'd wake up with somebody and discover that there was a spark there worth fanning. Since there was no guilt or shame to get you off to a bad start, it could work. Well if she wasn't married, anyway.

I'm one of those unusual women. I only need to have a vaguely sexual thought and I can go from 'I just cleaned the family toilet' to 'inflamed and ready to go'.

Well I didn't say there weren't any women like you, just that you are, indeed, extremely rare. I had a friend about 40 years ago who claimed to have a girlfriend like that, but I've never met any of them myself.
