I've always wondered what it's like to go skydiving or Bungee jumping..

Anyone here done those sorts of things ? I've always been the kid afraid of the roller coaster, but skydiving/parachuting sounds like fun.
Of course, It's only now that I'm 18 that I can finally break free of overprotective parents.

Skydiving may be fun, but I don't quite see the point of bungee jumping.
I never did any of those things though, except for the roller-coaster.

Bungee jumping.. I just thought it would be easier than skydiving. After all, you're on the ground when you start.

Yea, but I don't see why someone would do it.. unless you're an adrenalin junkie..

and then why bother, when you can just steal adrenaline from a nearby Ambulance station.

On my 18th birthday [edit incriminating (what was I thinking)

Besides that I've narrowly escaped a puma, kidnappers, [edit] and other authority figures. Done paragliding and a lot of free-diving and climbing w/o ropes.

I am totally an adrenaline junky by most standards but I don't even compare to some of the people I know.

It's obvious why I do it. I like setting the bar higher, to build my own confidence.

He could try skydiving onto the roof of an ambulance station, then bungee jumping off the side of the building to reach the window where he can break in and steal the adrenaline.

On my property down in Texas we have 26 acres. On the land there are 2 tall radio towers. I just jumped from one. The other one was too short for comfort.

And skydiving was also down in texas on my 18th b-day. Did a tandem jump. It was ok. I'd much rather just skydive solo someday.

    I have been skydiving.

I'm currently saving up for my USPA 'A' license.

    I also live for rollercoasters.

I understand all of that stuff. Its fun
What I don't understand is guys daring each other to eat the hottest peppers they can. You know, Jackass kind of stuff. To me, that is extreme.
