LOL, all I can say is that you have been well indoctrinated. Ad hominem and strawmen are the logic errors that run wild with you as well as limbaugh, hannity, beck and others in addition to a deep void of facts.

If you call, being for fair debate and an open airing of facts, then call me biased all you want.

And who ever said I think I should determine the public agenda? If you go back and read what I wrote, you will see no such words and no words that can even be stretched to mean same. You go back to creating strawmen again.

    Maybe so, maybe so.
Well now :huff:. But here, look at how you brought up the public agenda.
See that? Explain yourself then. Just exactly who is supposed to be appointed to isolate the few whom you lable as "hell bent". I'd say being hell bent is something you should understand.

You said “hell bent” in this post.

    Or did you not?

So can you or can’t you answer my question, just exactly who is supposed to be appointed to isolate the few whom you label as "hell bent". Do you not see the hypocrisy in what you say?

Of course i am of the firm belief that any time a ruler of a nation objects to a particular news agency, commentator, 'blogger, pundit, or even story the public should automatically listen more carefully to that source and figure out exactly why they should start hating that ruler.

Fox news is biased, people have known this for years. It doesn;t matter what they claim, everybody with 40 watts knows they are biased as any other news agency. The fact that Obama singles them out males me wonder what secrets they have or will reveal that makes the man so nervous.

I don't think there is any independent news media in the US. Even the Washington Journal which I used to consider pretty non-partisan, showed its colours during the Gaza war. Any American who called up asking critically about Israel would immediately be cut off and the question passed on. Only politically correct questions were taken. I have also never seen any positive representations of Arab countries in the US, since we Indians get so many good news items from places around the world, I can't see why the American public cannot.

Fox is not a biased news agency, it is a disguised propaganda agency. It is not "biased as any other news agency". News agencies, even the major US ones, must have some commitment to journalism, factual reality, the news itself, to be so labeled.

Exactly. Obama has practically every other network in his corner. He has Chris Matthews who confesses that he literally gets thrills up his leg when he hears Obama speak. Heaven forbid we have even one network that opposes him. Every news outlet must either be "neutral" or in support of Obama. If one dares oppose him, we need a new fairness doctrine to shut them up! All hail Obama!

Right, aren't you the clever one...not. When you have to make things up to defend your position, you have a very weak position. And that is where you are at. In each one of your replies you have made things up to defend your post. The "Hell Bent" is a prime example. Prior to your accusation and attribution of that to me, I had not mentioned it. In short you lied. Why am I not suprised.

There is absoutely NO Hypocrisy in anything I have said. Again, you resort to personal attacks and lies because that is all you have. I have no further interest in chatting with you because you just make stuff up.

I never said anything about isolating anyone It is you have again brought something else out of the ether. Your question doesn't even make sense.

If you cannot understand what has been plainly written, then maybe it is time for some remedial reading courses.

Fox should have been called out twenty years ago. Fox would be laughable if they did not actually understand their market. I think the job of letting Fox viewers know that a large segment of Americans including our president consider Fox to be a sick joke and a cancer in America is a good thing. If the Fox viewers think that it is just the fringe left that feel that Fox is a lying piece of crap cancer creating a more dysfunctional and weaker America then Fox viewers could dismiss the criticism as irrelevant but if Fox viewers understood how much of America feels that way about Fox then perhaps Fox viewers might take a more critical look at the quality of their news source.

Fox would not have used fair and balanced as their slogan if Fox did not have the fear of not being considered unfair and unbalanced.

One thing the right understands is that when a bully hits you you had better hit them back if you don't want to end up having to do what ever the bully says. It was long past time for Fox to get hit back.

I don't think any of us are asking for unquestioning support of obama, at least not me, all I'm asking for is decentralization of media such that any one media owner can't propagate his love or hate of political party X over a large percentage of the population, rather there would be tons of cable and airwave media owners such that each ones bias would be drown out by all the others.

Just because a news network reports news honestly, completely, and factually and does not omit news or invent news/information to paint your particular point of view in a better light does not mean the news source is biased.

I have spent a lot of time listening/watching Fox broadcasts and still do sometimes. But when they start inventing stuff, it is just a waste of time to watch them.
When they report falsefhoods as fact, then that is where I draw the line. I don't like people lying to me.

I'm sorry, but I am noticing a huge problem with Obama and Obamaniacs: If you disagree with them or report anything even slightly fishy suddenly your labeled as Unamerican and/or a hate speaker. Apparantly nobody is allowed to speak against Obama and his policies. This little trend should scare everyone.
