I see it too. I am in wonder to read this, and to know that I am not alone. I used to describe what I was seeing to others when I was a child. It is something valid and observable to me, yet it seemed irrational to others, so I stopped talking about it. Now I just 'smile and wave'. It is easier that way.

If seeing dead people is a gift, does that make mortuary workers, like, gifted?

There are a number of visual phenomena that you could be seeing; Visual Snow and the Blue Field Entropic Phenomena are two more in addition to floaters.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_field_entoptic_phenomenon
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Visual_snow
    http://www.migraine-aura.org/content/e27891/e27265/e42285/e42288/e57536/index_en.html

I have one too that I see whenever I look into a clear blue sky. I suspect it is probably the Blue Field phenomena as I really only see it under those circumstances but the bright points don't seem to follow channels.

Suffice to say, what you are seeing is a visual phenomena and not superhuman vision.

I would say that if you feel this is supernatural or super human I think you have 2 choices. One is to find out where the Justice League meetings are held in your area for People with superpowers they are usally held on the Mental ward floor of your nearest hospital just go to the front desk and tell them you are here for the Super hero Meeting thue will usher you in right away. Option two is to go get measured from a tailor for your new super hero suit after it is complete put it on and then go to the police station nearest you and say your are there to fight crime with your super vision they will then most likely take you to the Justice League meeting at the nearest hospital. You have to be very forcfull with them to be sure they understand that you are indeed a super hero and really want to join th Justice League in your area. Hope this helps and let us know how you make out.

So I'm not the only one that can see this. And my friends called me crazy. Actually I've documented this phenomena over the years and in all sorts of conditions. The trick is to focus your gaze on an empty point in space just in front of your face. The first thing I see are these things called floaters. The moving points of light are just past them. I agree that staring into the clear blue sky seems to work the best but I founc that any well lit open area with a bright background will do (like staring across the factory at a white wall). Attempting this is not vary comfortable on the eyes at first though the vastness of the sky helps immensely. The surrounding temperature (-10 through 102 degrees Fahrenheit) has no apparent influence on their motion so I ruled out enviromental molecules floating in the air. After a few years of close observation I came to the conclusion that I was viewing the blood cells moving through the capillaries at the back of my eye. Why they appear as dancing points of light (definitely not floaters) I can not say. Seeing as fighter pilots tell of this, maybe it's an unknown early stage of glaucoma (high fluid pressure in the eye) which affects 1 in 200 people worldwide younger than fifty years of age and 1 in 10 people over the age of eighty. If those of us that can see these things end up with glaucoma compared to those of you who can not (control group) then we may have something. Yet, until this test is properly preformed we could just as easily say that the opposite could happen or there's no correlation at all. Speculation doesn't help but still. I'm not the only ond that can see this. Why is it that we can yet others can not?

I can see it too. But I have only noticed it while being a bored passenger in a car, preferably the front seat, looking out the window on a clear day.
Looks like clear bits of capillaries floating about in one direction (from left to right).

Yep, that's what I gathered as well.

I see them as well..dark matter?

They appear for me at various times but it seems they must reflect light at a certain angle to be visible to the naked eye. They are ever present but only visible under the right circumstances. They have no color but rather bend the light that hits them. They are infinite in number and move independently, not like dust particles but with purpose! Imagine a school of tiny transparent fish flying towards and through you in every direction. After reading more about the suspected properties of dark matter, the fact that it is omnipresent and moving through all of us at all times, I have started to flirt with the idea that what we are all experiencing is in fact witnessing this cosmic mystery flowing through everything. These "particles" appear to be flying at great speeds though they actually appear to move in more of an erratic swimming motion through air itself. Please let me know your similar experiences and thoughts on this riddle.

Nope these are not floaters at all....completely different!

These lights move about independently at different speeds so not floaters or blue field, It seems strange though with so many of us seeing them there is not a definitve explaination,

I think, though I am not sure, it is a byproduct of oversensitive vision, caused by hyperactivity in the visual cortex...

I have that thing too. I have a uniform sea of neon dots all over my vision. They have been there since I was a little kid.

well you cant see them in open air, its literally impossible.

Because a law of physics states that no neutrons can occupy more than a single point in space, which also means that no two neutrons can occupy the same point in space time, since electrons and protons are derivatives of neutrons, it applies to them too.

But photons, light particles, do not have to comply with that rule, that is why they can pass through seemingly solid objects that are thin enough, because they can occupy a point in space occupied by a neutron or neutron derivative. But it takes away some of the energy of the photon, and when the resistance of passing through the object is too much it will simply bounce off, that is what you see.

But many of the atoms with small atomic numbers including oxygen, CO2, nitrogen, and more have very little resistance against the photons while the ones with larger amounts are very resistant, and of course there are abnormal ones that dont follow the general rule. But that general rule applies to solids, most gases since the atoms are very spaced out resist photons very little.

But the fact is you cannot see any individual atoms simply because those ones in the air have negligible amounts of resistance and you simply cannot see them because when the photon hits any atom, it would simply go through the atom, you need for it to bounce off to get an image.

those are usually damage of some sort to the cornea, like whenever you look at any direction they are always the same basic pattern and you can never focus on any that are at the sides because whenever you move your eyes the defect moves with it.

Nope. I have perfect vision, according to the optician that did my test.

And I can focus on them for a second or two, but they morph and flicker all the time.

Your vision is composed of coloured dots, much like a CRT television image. Each dot is a rod or cone cell receiving some light. Perhaps some folks can discern this by careful examination of their sight; perhaps its imagination.
