ok look at it logically, what would it take for you to rape someone? Forget the law, cops ect because they dont actually come into the minds of wether most people would take an action

The entire reason that I don't want to rape someone (other than fear of the law, punishment etc) is that I would feel bad about hurting someone else. But if I weren't constrained by that (in otherwords, if I was like most criminals), then that wouldn't be a factor.

My point here is that just because a person is willing to use violence to get what they want, it doesn't mean that the violence is the point of the activity - it's just the means to the desired end. I don't think anyone would say that a criminal who wants money and so beats up a person and takes his wallet was necessarily motivated by the desire to do violence; most people would conclude that his motivation was a desire for money, and violence was just a way to easily acquire it.

I think the Jury is still out whether the Rape is overwhelming desire to sow the seed or enjoy violence as with a bully.

There's no debate about the motive for rape. It is essentially about power. 80 year olds get raped. Most of the time it is not because they are sexually attractive to the rapist.
