If you have the CDkey but lost it, hae all but one cd because it wasstolen, are missing the needed files to run witout CD in and can't find them- then, no I wouldn't consider myself to be advoating piracy,simply wondeingif anyone knew where I can find the missing files. Probably doing this is illegal but whatever???? I can't find a reason that it would be?

She might simply be asking about how to play it without a disc.

Tnerb, you have to have the disc in-tray to play any game. This is done to prevent piracy.

If you are advocating piracy, then don't ask here.

Why don't you just go out and find a copy in a shop. Diablo2 you'll probably find in a second hand store or in the bargain section, heck you can even buy it online.

well if you don't have the expansion buy the battlechest at any store. You'll get the full game and the expansion plus staregy guides for both.

You could probably download it from Bit Torrent. I don't think downloading any game is illegal, but, it is illegal to upload so you should turn off your share and list as a leach.

Why not download something more fun? Like FFXIII

I don't play PC games only PS3 games .... so I have no idea :shrug:
but I can't imagine it's be that hard, search bitnova and see what comes up.

I have been TRYING to play GHWT. I never played it before. It's a LOT of fun. For me anyway. I'm thinking of buying GH Metalica sometime soon

Download an iso for that CD and mount it to a virtual drive eg. MagicCD.

 

If you asked Blizzard tech support and could Identify the game you had then they would probably send you a replacement disk for a FEE. That is the legitimate way of replacing your disc, however the cost itself would probably equal going out and buying a new copy anyway.
