Last night this guy killed 4 women at the local gym and wounded 10 more before finishing his miserable life. It was full moon. Can anyone glean from the entries why he decided to shoot the women at the gym? He doesn't really seem to have a gripe with women per se, yeah he was upset over being alone but I don't really get the impression from the blogs that he blamed them or one in particular. I can understand he was despondent and suicidal but I don't see the mental shift that brought on his attack on the girls.
mental illness is not rational. Its sad to see people blamed for an illness, no one would be blamed if a bus driver had a heart atack or a stroke and there for the bus full of people died

I see what you mean. I did feel a little sorry for him reading his blog. He didn't really seem to 'hate' women it seemed he was more in pain because of his own life. I mean it wasn't as if he was saying 'so and so wouldn't talk to me because she was a bitch' or 'women only want money or a young hot guy' etc. He just seemed empty. Obviously he had more problems than being a recovering alcoholic. They claim in one article that he was 'racist' but I don't see from his blog that he was a racist. It's too bad he didn't get help before it was too late. But why people like this try to take others with them is really sad. If you are miserable, and don't want to go on, don't hurt people who had nothing to do with it. Nothing matters after you are dead, so why bother?
Christ that'll be my blog in a few more years! lol But honestly I'm more spiritual than he was, I have different views now than he did. I feel that unless I connect spiritually to someone then there's really no connection, I am not afterall very fun or good looking. So I'll wait, and if I ever meet someone that's into me for spiritual reasons (connection, personality etc.) then yea maybe I'll get laid for once
Yeah I don't quite get that, maybe it makes the suicide easier as there is no where else to go with it. I understand the behaviour when the rage is externalized but he didn't seem to do that. Maybe we will learn more from the press as time goes on.

Lets say i pump you full of bacteria till your kidneys fail (this is rare but it does happen in UTI's) and the toxins start building up in your brain, i give you a gun and watch what happens. Alien invasion? :bugeye: The man now seems saner in his blog than you do in that post. All we know of the guy was that he was desperately lonely we don't know for sure he suffered from a mental illness. You don't have to be mentally ill to kill other people. The thought process in his blog actually take on a rational sequence, he seems quite self-aware and conscious of his decision, he goes back and forth to bolster his nerves.
1. He turned off the lights before he started to shot. 2. It is not that easy to hit moving objects anyway. 3. A person can survive quite a lot of wounds. It is not really about executing as many as he can but sending a message...
