Well, since they can be recognized easily on the street, so why not admit it on an anonymus forum? After all you are who you are, you might as well be proud of it...

Also, being an emo is more than just liking a special musical style.

yes i agree with you, i live with an emo kid (my daughter) however its not all about the cutting themselves, (my daughter doesnt do that) and yes your right its not all about the music they listen to either

Hey guys, we got one!

 

Yeah, I'm just as shy and sensitive as the chick on your avatar.

 

They're basically Gen-Y goths, Lucy. With a twist.

Emotional Hardcore.

Their parents were goths, so they've had to create their own version to distance themselves from them.
Gen-Z probably won't have a bar of it.
