It wasn't the 501st on Endor... But I'm still pretty sure that it was the 501st that boarded the Tantive IV in the first movie.

Only problem is, we see NONE of this in the movies... even the DS had to approach the rebel base around the moon instead of hyperspacing above it, firing, and hyperspacing away... so we can safely assume that, no, it can't do it. Because we SAW that it COULDN'T do it.

And no, the Cube didn't adapt to the firepower of a Galaxy class starship... it was able to adapt to an entire FLEET of HUNDREDS of vessels hitting it on EVERY FREQUENCY known to StarFleet. And that, my friend, was a bloody scout cube - imagine what, oh, I dont' know, a Tactical Cube, ala Voyager, could do?

Ewoks fight in there backyard guerillia style. Of course the troopers got there ass kicked.
the allmighty USA got his as kicked in Korea, Vietnam.

Even a todays squadron would get his ass kicked bij the ewoks.

Timetravel is the most dangerous thing. One tiny mistake kan butterfly into major problems.
Why do you think they didn't use if to save millions of lifes throughout history?
Use it to stop the borg or the dominion war???

Time travel is the best way to screw youself.
Btw if you oblivarate present UFP there is no future UFP.

Kitt. the DS exiting Hyperspace beyond the gas giant is pure plotwriting. You didn't see it exit ontop of the planet but that doesn't mean i can't do it.
There wouldn't be a episode 5 and 6 if the rebels were completely destroyed at Yavin. Don't be a niftpicker

There wouldn't be any butterfly effect in a war like this, because the two universes aren't related in any way whatsoever. They beated both the Borg and the Dominion before the development of time travel... It would be like going back in time to kill Hitler.

What ?? Do you think a squadron would even stand a chance ???? Yeah wright.
Maybe when they would be in the desert like Irak or afganistan Maybe.
I would like to see them really try in the jungle. Don't forget they are protecting a building.
Hell even some native tribe can kill them all with hit and run tactics.

That is something you can't know for sure. Who's to say that both Universes aren't connected. Don't forget the opening sequence 'A long long time ago in ....' We're talking about thousands and thousands of years. Hell for al we know the Q are decendents from a Jedi. Still it would be to dangerous to just take things for granted.

Don't tell any Jew about going back and Kill Hitler would not make a difference.
we are talking of millions of lives here.

Yes, I think that they would win for sure against something like 200 teddy bears and 20 rebels... And, actually, it was an entire legion, not even close to a squadron.

Bullshit is always funny. It's likely that if you kill Hitler, you die... Because you never existed. Everything is possible if you mess with YOUR history, but if you mess with the history of others... No problem.

Legion ???? Howmany Stormtroopers do you see on endor ??? Twenty ? Thirty ? Hardly a legion.

The troopers are defending a building in the middle of a forestplanet. That's a seriously disadvange. I think you don't really understand Guerillia Warfare.

Palpatine himself said that it was an ENTIRE legion. I haven't even seen a Stardestroyer... Only some plastic models.

Dude i'm not claiming that the Q are in anyway related to the Jedi. I'm just trying to point out that thing are easily overlooked but can have devastating effects.

If future Feds would comeback to aid present UFP they are changing THEIR history.

Not really. Since the UFP exists in the future they can't be defeated in their past, or we would have a paradox. The fact that they have temporal warfare suggests that they don't have a lot of problems with time travel, also.

Palpatine was trying to bring Luke to the Darkside of the force. So it's normal he would be exagerating. You trekkies are allways screaming " IT'S NOT ON SCREEN SO IT'S NOT TRU" well i did not see a legion onscreen.
