Look it is simple, star trek is the future equivalent of the U.N. charters, peacemaking, blah blah blah. star wars is star treks pissed off drunken brother that starts fights in bars because his bigger and loves to fight.

Every time star trek has a "new conflict" storyline where a new force clashes with the federation X amount of ships get destroyed in some big battle and then some hippie conclusion saves the day.

One thing wins in war, speed. it happens on the ocean, on land, and in space. star trek and warp speed is too slow. Star wars can out flank, out gun, and out maneuver anything in the futuristic peace corp of the federation.

Ah! That's the disadvantage of not reading when you've missed like 5 pages lol. I'd grant you the point that the Force enables jedi and sith to accomplish stuff without technology.

But...I think what Kitt may have been saying is that nothing thus far that the Force enables em to do is unrepeatable via technology. In other words, the Force comes in handy, but it is hardly an ace-in-the-hole like time travel abilities.

This is my point as well. The majority of the Empire's droids are such a waste of time! Can't aim, tinsel like frames...why not build the rolling ones alone? Easy win.

Kahless. But this is not the only example of the abilities of a Klingon in hand to hand combat.

In my opinion (don't quote me on that) the main computer has three reasons. first because of the enormous numbers of droids it would be easier to give orders during battle,
two : the droids are a plot device, they can't be all so powerfull as droidika's because otherwise the Galactic alliance wouldn't have a chance. the army of droids had to be overcome.
three : the main computer is some kind of safety measure, If you look at how some droids can have a serious AI you wanna have a safetycontrol so you can prevent them from turning agianst you.

this is my conclusion. the standard battledroid is in the movie so the kids can laugh at there stupidity. Hell ever heard of a droid that shakes in fear ???

euh, you don't see many other jedi fight than the ones you just mentioned so how could you know how good they actually are??
But you are right about Klingon's. They are a race of warriors. No-one is saying otherwise.

I suppose you mean those handfull of Jedi's against the droids and the Flying insecttype inhabitants ???? take a other good look then at the Jedi's foo's. No-one could survive that battle with only a sword and a few blasters. Not even your precious Klingons with their Batleth and some phasers. Then actually give a awesome fight. Except for Q no race in Startrek would even last that long.

Star Trek races wouldn't be retarded enough to fight with short range weapons, such as light sabres, in the first place. Klingons are sort of crazy and they prefer dying in combat, so they don't count. lol.

The Borg could have easily handled that situation. They would have adapted to the lasers.

The Jedi were not retarded they were just bying time for the clonetroopers to arrive. Don't forget that at that point the Jedi did not posses huge battleships.

Actually, at lvl 16 wide beam you get around 20-25 shots... but you'd wipe out a swath of droids in a 60 degree arc for something like 50 meters in front of you... that's more than a few thousand. With 25 shots, they'd all be toasty.

Well, considering R2D2 took out 2 destroyer droids with an oil slick and his little rockets... pathetic. That means they can't even withstand a few hundred degree temperatures...

    I would disagree...

    Gorn.

Their thick hides make them hard to take down... considering they stand around 4 meters tall and have three inch thick leathery hides that make a kill shot from a phaser a stun shot to them.
