Yesterday I went to Tommy Thompson park in downtown Toronto and stumbled upon a protected area in the park that is a bird sanctuary. Naturally, I went past the barrier to get a closer look and saw the most incredible shit -- hundreds of birds on the beach, plus many of the surrounding trees had nests in them... like, each tree would have around 10-15 nests. Some birds were flying around with little twigs in their mouths, fixing up their own nests, some were sitting on top of the nest (i.e. nesting)... I've never seen anything like it live.

I wish I had a camera with me.

Nah... not really... but I tried to be as invisible as possible.

I saw this one dude in the bushes with a camera. He saw me approaching and thought I was a park ranger so he took off. Then he saw it was only me and was like "you better have an umbrella" ... i.e. the birds might drop shit bombs on me... then there was a pretty girl doing the same as me...

Well as long as it doesn't become crowdy and you're careful not to disturb them

I miss this thread, what an awesome video, Shorty....! Are you gonna "keep" the Robin? I saw box like this for robin, so perhaps it'll keep the Robin (I'm not sure, though!):

Well the birds took off last week, I missed them actually leaving the nest.

Anyway the baby birds are still lingering around my house.

I came out one day last week to find one of them sitting on my patio chairs.
His butt was was facing the inside of the chair. He must have been there a while because the chair was loaded in SHIT!!! I went outside and walked right up to him but he didn't fly away, he just shit again!

I looked him in the eye and said STOP shitting on my chair and if you don't get out of here by the time Bruce comes out you may never take a shit again!

    :roflmao:

I have some more pictures, including the cushion full of shit........but I have been extremely busy lately. So I will get to that soon, since I know Enmos is dying to see them.

    Ha! Ok Inzomnia....

It is amazing the one tiny little bird can shit so much. You would think a whole flock was sitting there.
