    Is that your voice (which one ?) ?

    They look different than European Robins by the way.
    Here's what ours look like:

    TO SHORTY:
    Pardon me, but that one picture looks like two male robins. Am I mistaken? The color of the second one seems too bright to be a female...

    Those are super cute, as are Clueless's hummingbird pics. I love birds so much. I have a family of Goldfinches that loves my yard, and I love to hear them sing. I have put up an area now to attract hummingbirds, but I haven't hung the feeder yet, because it still might freeze here once more. I planted Lobelia, Honeysuckle and sweetpeas around it to try to attract them as well. The lobelia and honeysuckle are already starting to grow... I'm so excited. I hear that we have ruby throats in this area.

    I also want to put up a martin house, but I need some help with that. I need to cement the pole into the ground, and I'm not real good on ladders.

    Oh, and I have an owl that likes to sit on my roof looking for field mice in the large field behind my house. I love to hear him at night, it's so comforting. He even scares the coyotes away when the dogs aren't in the yard.

    They turn out to be a completely different species:
    European Robin -> Erithacus rubecula
    American Robin -> Turdus migratorius

    Cool ! I hope you get lots of birds in your garden

    I love to wake up with the birds singing. My bedroom window is always open, and they sit right outside

    Nietzsche is the one laughing saying there is going to be talking through it.

    The other voice is my neighbor calling me the second I started recording. She always has such great timing. So then I reply with SHUT IT! ha

    Then later on the SHUT IT is my youngest being sarcastic.

    Interesting, I just assumed robin's looked the same everywhere. I keep looking in on them throughout the day. They already seem to be growing since I took these on Sunday. I will keep taking more pictures and posting them.

    Well the one sitting on the nest, I am assuming is the mother. That is the one that is constantly sitting there. The other Robin pops in here and there bringing in more food.

    Maybe they have gay marriage for Robins in Canada.

    I know.... we have the cutest brown rabbit that hangs around here too but of course I don't carry a camera around 24/7. By the time I go in to get the camera it is long gone.
    I haven't seen a Cardinal or Blue Jay around here in ages. I just put out the feeder with food though, and the cutest little yellow birds are coming to feed.
    They almost look like yellow canaries. I will try and get a picture of them.

    So it is almost a week since I took the first pictures. They have grown quite a bit since then. Here are the most recent pictures from today.
    It is getting pretty crammed in there now. Every time one tries to stretch it's wings it almost falls out. I wonder how long it will be now before
    they leave the nest.

    I just hope that one of the dogs including my own doesn't get to them first.
    I would be devastated to see my dog with one of those in his mouth.

    Yes its easy to get atached to wildlife like that... cats are a bigger prollem for little birds than dogs aroun here.!!!
