    Draqon's choices:

1 choice) Draqon agrees with members to end the cranberry diet and gets scolded for not sticking with his original plan and whining

2 choice) Draqon does not agree with members to end the cranberry diet and gets scolded for not listening to members and being an egoist and following the [quoting Absane] "stupidest diet ever"

I applaud your giving up the diet. It was silly from the beginning and there are safer, healthier ways to achieve your goals.

Are you sure that there were no other choices?

When you realised that your original objective was not realistic, perhaps you could have had a re-think.

The thing is that you put yourself into a bad (losing) position, by starting an illogical, cruel, hard to do diet and you did it PUBLICLY. Now since the start was bad, all other choices were bad, sort of. This is otherwise known as a lose-lose situation.

You could still have MODIFIED slightly the diet (let's say taking limited 800-1000 calories) but otherwise follow through. That way everybody would have been happy...

Draq, eat sensibly and exercise. It's better than the alternatives: Feeling bad about yourself/making yourself sick. Little positive changes are a big help: Taking the stairs instead of the elevator, or switching to diet soda.

People just get exhausted that things never get better for you. Frankly, if you can't manage even a small permanent change, I want you to leave, too. It gets depressing. And I don't mean that in a mean-spirited away. It makes other people feel bad to have someone ceaselessly negative around. It's why you have a lot of problems here.

I'd heard recently that diet soda is useless for someone already addicted to soda. it's not as filling because it sits on the stomach lighter with its low calorie sweetener compared to sugar. I'd recommend milk if you aren't lactose intolerant. it helps my caffiene-addict friends.

I'm simply throwing a third option out there for draqon to consider.

Given the amount of trepidation he seems to be exhibiting, it doesn't seem like an unreasonable one.

The trouble with this is that its easier to say than to do.
I'm sure I could write a book on diets and dieting, but I'm still overweight.

5 Choice) Draqon considers more healthy and fun approach, such as doing fun exercise like biking, swimming, or exercising on bed (if he is too lazy to do outdoor sport). Can even post on sciforums while exercising, like this:

Btw, today at 4 PM I"m going to go swimming with my friend, because we find a swimming pool with just 2€ per entry, and that every Thursday they have women's day (only women are allowed to swim every Thursday above 4 PM). Also, they have warm water. So cheap for just 2€ per entry! We plan to race for 10 rounds. Actually, past couple of days I steal a start by trying to hold my breath in big bucket of water to improve my breathing endurance. Ayyyy I feel so excited! :xctd:
