I can assure you that statistics show that physical abuse and sexual molestation is rather commonplace in our modern society. Hence it cannot easily be labeled as behaviour from weirdos. That would de-humanize the perpetrators and make a solution invalid from the start. Hence this kind of statements where a large group of people is labeled as abnormal isn't productive on any level.

Working hard at your job is good for the economy, your self-esteem, and your career possibilties.

There does seem to be a lot of confusion about these issues from both sides of the male/female divide.


Best just to go for ther men are bastards and women are bitches until proven otherwise type catogorisation. There's an element of personal safety in that approach.

I just wanted to take a moment to stress the word truly. You've made an assertion that, while I agree with it, I also see as problematic in its reception. So before anyone raises a certain kind of example as counterpoint, let me simply remind that there are billionaires, potentates, and criminal masterminds whose successes owe specifically to their poor self-esteem.

That's all. Just trying to cover an obvious pretense before someone actually tries to pretend it's a viable counterpoint.

Yeah and I'm sure your group would be none too happy with any guy that harrassed you. Even if you go to the loo and someone fucks with you, just let your boys know who it is. If they're really your boys and they see some jackass fucking with you, I'm sure they would go over to the guy and 'address the issue'.
