Your example is a relativist one, ie, Norse would only consider something wrong in a context where it happens to him. You can't get more relative than that. The generalization from that, if you don't like it, other people won't like it, while the foundation of the golden rule, isn't logically necessary.

 

She's doing it. The articles in the OP contain all the images of what she did to that cat, along with the other kitten murderess. However, those images may be too traumatic for a lot of people here.

 

How would that change the fact that morality is relative? To my friends/family and me, the aggressor might seem "bad" and what he did was "wrong" but to HIM it was not.


Morality is not objective. That doesn't mean you can't have a morality, but it is still subjective and ultimately nonexistent.

 

If you deliberately and arbitrarily do things that hurt other people or animals who never did a single bad thing to hurt you, then it's wrong. It is unhealthy, unprovoked, and harmful. There's no subjective "good" inherent that can be found in that. In every strict definition of the word "wrong," there it is.
