Some of the information in here about those two boys is rather disturbing.

Halfway through it, and it reads as bullshit.

"These are not ordinary kids who were bullied into retaliation," psychologist Peter Langman writes in his new book, Why Kids Kill: Inside the Minds of School Shooters. "These are not ordinary kids who played too many video games. These are not ordinary kids who just wanted to be famous. These are simply not ordinary kids. These are kids with serious psychological problems."

    Yeah, right.
When was the last time this guy was in a high school?

i love watching the twisting and turning people do over shootings like this.

"Hey it has nothing to do with the fact that i used to dunk his head in the toilet everyday, the guy was a loner and an evil freak which just proves i was right to dunk his head, should have done it more and maybe he wouldnt have killed everyone"

its really sad that people just cant see that there own constant torture of these "loners" is the reason why they do this

He is right Roman. If you are going to let bullying get to you then you are no better than the bully. The bully often has problems of their own far more sever than the one who is being bullied but they dont know how to deal with it or have no choice but to take the abuse they are receiving somewhere else. When the bullying becomes physical then something needs to be done but that should be left to the proper channels.

These columbine kids where mentally ill. If you have one disturbed\psychotic individual that is bad enough but when that person gets a partner then they feed off eachothers delusions. You see one person can sometimes recognize that something is seriously wrong but when another individual is involved then the delusion becomes more rational. It is like when people say 'those two are bad for each other' there is a reason for that.

    Adding to post #4:

Often time people seek out other individuals in the same mental state as they are and even attract them. They do this instead of getting help or when the help they are receiving is rebuffed or not sufficient. We see this especially with addicted people. The reasons are many. I dont have all the answers and i am giving my own insight.

problems are certainly developed from abuse, which i touched on in my previous post. one important thing to try and remember is not to let another persons weaknesses or emotional problem change or impact you. it is easier said than done but like i said they are the ones with the problem so you should not let that change you as a person.

yea im sure that kids bullied there entire life to the point where they have that server a depression would seek out other kids in the same situation. That just proves its not the bullying doesnt it?

oh wait, rape victioms do the same thing dont they, well i guess that means they wanted to be raped

john, while I don't have you on ignore, I pretty much always ignore you. The frequency with which you are completely wrong is astounding- something like 100%. Your brain is so foreign- I cannot fathom how you process things. You take all the right inputs, and get fantastically wrong outputs. It's like your brain is an unlogic box.

    Asguard,

that is not what i am saying. people who have similar outlooks often find each other. when it is something very negative then it applies to that as well. bullying was not the overriding factor of columbine. it is easy to make excuses like that but in reality they were two very mentally defective individuals. and once they found eachother it just exacerbated their problems.

of course it wasnt, you go on thinking that bullying is ok and doesnt have conquences. I have to wonder if the reason is to excuse your OWN actions?

if you actually interested in FACT look up the link between PTSD, Suicidle Clinical Depression and bullying. Its makes me shake my head that the US would rather worry about making sure these kids can be put on death row (charging them as adults) rather than preventing the inital bullying in the first place.

As i stated in another thread on bullying australia has a VERY strong focus to the point of actually bringing criminal charges against bullys. In that thread the idea of charging them was ridiculed (i thought it was mad but maybe it was shorty or her partner who said it) "you really want to haul these kids up into court"

They were all advocating "fighting back" well the irony is you cant get much better than fighting back with a sub machine gun can you?
oh wait, we will sentance you to death for that?

why didnt you haul the kids who started it up before a judge before the guns came out?
why didnt you haul the parents who let there kids get away with being bullies up before the courts?
why didnt you haul up the teachers and staff who turned a blind eye?

I watched a show on TV that said both of those kids had voices in their heads driving them insane crazy with what people would view as auditory hallucinations, driving them to do crazy shit.

Makes me wonder if they were implanted with terrorist microchips of some kind.

    WTF is a "terrorist microchip"?
One that holds the innocent microchips hostage and demands to be flown to a sympathetic computer?

Being a balanced individual, I have a skeptic chip in each cheek.

But my tongue only pressed against one of the others, ...

USA Today is barely one step above TV news ("The News For People Who Can't Read") in its breadth of coverage. The Washington Post, one of a very few newspapers that was skeptical of the facile explanation about Columbine from the very beginning, ran a better story on this yesterday. Excerpts:
The rock band Flyleaf wrote and performed a song called "Cassie" about the apparently apocryphal "profession of faith." According to the story, the shooter asked Cassie if she believed in God, and when she replied, "Yes," he shot her. The song is all over YouTube, both the electric and acoustic versions. This is mythology in action.

FR i dont get how that is ment to make me change my opinion on the whole story, from the start people have tried to blame everyone but themselves over this and i find it rather incrediable that people still belive, inspite of all the evidence in relation to PTSD, battered women syndrome ect not to mention the direct resurch into the subject, that bullying is "good for kids", "will make a man of them". I should state that i have never actually read the coronors report however into the shootings and its something i really would like to get around to eventually
