If you have the need for speed, the more affordable (and safer) option is to get yourself a small airplane, CommunistHamster. Nobody pulls you over in the sky (except in the occasional, avoidable restricted airspace).

"About 200 Knots... was I going too slow?"

I once got out of a speeding ticket, by telling a cop I was coming from the airport where I had just landed, and that I had foolishly not re-calibrated my sense of speed for driving. He mentioned that he had once taken flying lessons, and let me go.

But too much honesty is not always good. I always tell cops exactly how fast I was going (with mixed results). Once a cop asked me where I was going, and being in an off mood I blurted out "None of your business" (with negative results).

They use planes sometimes as well then have a patrol car stop you down the road.

A stealth car would need to be a hover car to avoid the tire-wire speed method, where two wires (or air hoses? never was sure) are strung across a lane, and by measuring the difference in timing of the tires hitting each line, the speed can be determined.

Also, you'd need a cloaking device if the cops are just using a stopwatch and poles.

All this technology may generate a temporal feedback-loop which will tear the ship apart, captain!!!!

Well the problem is that stealth designs dont defeat radar, they just resist it. Ie, if a radar can detect a bomber 300 NMi away, a stealth bomber would have to get within 150 NMi to even show up, and even then it would look like birds.

For a car, you would be withing a hundred feet of the radar, so the radar would still track you.

You may say that in jest, but there is a lot of misinformation around on the subject. When someone spends considerable unauthorized time flying within restricted airspace, they get an escort to a reception on the ground. Lethal air defenses (like employing shoot-to-kill against trespassers on the ground) are not compatible with law and order in openly-accessible areas of an open society. We've gotten a little crazy in the USA since 9-11, but not that crazy (at least not in our own skies).

When modern air defenses sufficient to thwart a deliberate attack (if not mere speeders) are activated in areas of ambiguous civilian traffic, the predictable results are unacceptable, and the recklessness criminal.

Even after the extensive changes to WashingtonDC airspace and procedures, the time available for the military and Secret Service personnel so assigned to reliably descriminate a real threat from a mistake is grossly insufficient. Present procedures have likely skewed the odds slightly towards violations being inadvertant, and not threats- but the actual defense from a real attack is scarcely enhanced. Hair-trigger lethal force against wayward aircraft is not practical without closing DCA, and the decision was (privately) made that operating DCA is worth the risk. Pilots do lose their certificates for flying over the White House but (in spite of the implied threats) are not blasted into falling wreckage.

The truth is there are no systems in place that can deflect a large aircraft from a deliberate impact trajectory within the tiny no-fly zone over the Washington Mall. The entire system of post-9/11 "security" measures are primarily intended to produce a perception of security and invulnerability, and most especially the perception of an invulnerable government. When you take a close look, it becomes apparent that the organic responses of the US Govenment to 9-11 have not so much been the defense of the public, as they have been for the defense of perceptions about state security.

When i went to the white house several years ago for the 4th of July and even for the inauguration, i noticed that on the roof of it, facing the white house is a convas covered rectangular object. I personally always thought and still do think, that it is some sort of anti aircraft, S.A.M system.

Not to mention the fact that having flaming airplane debris falling out of the sky is a huge safety hazard to everyone on the ground.

Anyway, regarding using "stealth" or some such to avoid a speeding ticket, I'll repeat what I said 4 years ago; cops don't need to get you on radar to write you a ticket, they can just say that they observed you speeding. And you can bet that if their radar gives a nonsensical return from your car, they'll probably start paying very close attention to it.

I'll just say it 1 more time (time to ride my bike up to the airport): Get an airplane if you want to go fast- it's much cheaper.

speaking of D.C. I was there for the last inoguration and all I could see were a lot of snipers, I also scoped a few with binoculars and got scoped in return. They really need to invent electro-magnetic shields.

I hear that putting your car up on blocks makes it really hard for them to pick it up on radar.

Yes, buying a radar/laser detector or radar/laser defense system is worth it for sure. I got two tickets one right after another and could have just as well had a third ticket if not for me purchasing a good radar defense system.

If you live in a city, police mostly only use lidar/laser guns to get your speed. You people need to pay $340.00 for a Blinder lasar jammer. It is totally legal in the us because it only jamms laser guns. if you buy a radar jammer, they are illegal.

The blinder m25 xtreme laser jammer really works. It is a lasar detector and jammer. The mila second the police has his laser gun on you it goes to work, putting out a pulsating infared light right back at the cop, disabling his laser/lidar gun. Ha Ha

I would give the link but i need atleast 20 posts. Go to Ebay, type in the search bar " blinder xtreme " or " blinder laser" .

Remember ebay will not let this devise be sold if it is illegal.

If you are like me and bought the blinder lasar jammer and it didnt work, it is because the police in your town use only radar guns. So I sent my blinder laser jammer back and paid $350 on the newest escort 8500 x50 radar detector.

The escort 8500 x50 gives you plenty of warning from the cops and even works when cops are using their "instant on" radar where they pull the trigger on their gun and instantly have your speed before you can even slow down. This feature is called "pop mode". It can pickup the low frequencies that their radar guns put out while in instant on mode.

So if you cant stop yourself from speeding, put that ticket money into a defense system that you can get your money back out of instead of handing it over to the government in the form of a ticket and putting points on your license, or dont speed...
