THE Obama with out a telleprompter.

Yes, we know who would be exposed, and THE Obama would get his backside handed to Him.

The funny thing was McCarty was correct on most of His charges.

Well just tell limbaugh to show up. He knows it would not be appropriate for the President to go his radio show.

That's all it would do. Limbaugh is now nothing more than a glorified media personality that's happened to take advantage of the leadership vacuum in the Republican Party. But by stooping to his level and debating him, Obama would elevate Limbaugh to someone who is an actual political force to be taken seriously by the masses. Nixon, who was admittedly in a better position than Limbaugh, used this same tactic against LBJ to become the President's foil in the media.

I think anyone who can get the chairman of the Republican Party and Republican Congressmen to cow-tow to him should be taken seriously.

Actually I would say anyone who can scare the Democrats this badly, should be taken seriously, one voice, one man, and the Democrats are shitting yellow.

It is the Democrats who are starting this because they are afraid of Him and are trying to destroy Rush and His reiteration of Reagan Conservatism.

The other thing I find extremely funny is the Democrats trying to claim the Reagan Mantle, after the names and attacks that the Democrats made for all 8 years of President Reagan's term in Office.

As I said, there's a leadership vacuum which is why Limbaugh is able to get that kind of attention. But he is still nothing more than a media personality! By giving him more attention in the form of a debate, all Obama will do is add oxygen to the fire when he should be doing the exact opposite.

Reagan conservatism is nothing to be proud of and it's a damn shame conservatives and Republicans aren't trying to destroy it as well.

He is nothing like McCarthy, and the comparison is crude and hyperbolic.

He's just like McCarthy. The only people who can't see that are his enablers.

Actually, no. I don't like Limbaugh, and I certainly don't enable him. The fact I chose to point out hyperbole for what it is has nothing to do with the man and everything to do with my insistence of some sort of fact-based dialogue. Not that I expect you to understand this, because you engage in hyperbole and ridiculous comparisons all the time.

You're an enabler. The same way you're defending Rush now is the same way you've defend the GOP for the last 8 years while they ran our country into the ground.

Seems to me there is a split in the party membership.

Not agreeing with your brand of lunacy does not equal enabling or defending.

Oh I forgot, anyone who doesn't subscribe to your opinionated views is a lunatic. This is coming from someone who voted for Bush twice.

You need to check your assumptions at the door with your lunacy. I never voted for Bush and have never voted for a Republican.

And this particular conversation has nothing to do with my opinions about him or them. I responded to a statement you made, calling it typical hyperbole from a typically hyperbolic and biased source. You and I may not like Limbaugh, but comparing him to McCarthy is ridiculous. It's akin to trying to compare Bush to Hitler (which people of your ilk often do). You can engage in that kind of chicanery if you want, but nobody with a brain will take you seriously.

Then why was THE Obama trying to act Reaganesque? and why are the Democrats trying to claim the Reagan Mantle?

Reagan was the most effective President since Kennedy at making the economy boom, Tax Cuts, Kennedy and Reagan, and the economies were stronge and vibrant.

What makes you think the President determines what the economy does?

    I didn't say Reagan wasn't popular.

A monstrous deficit, tax increases, the turning of the US from the world's largest creditor nation to the world's largest debtor nation, protectionist trade policies, vast expansion of foreign aid, bailing out the failed S&L firms and the FDIC, and inflationary monetary polcies, I could go on and fucking on...

The Reagan boom was no different than the Bush II boom, fake prosperity propelled by terrible monetary policy that ultimately benefited the few at the expense of the many.

Limbaugh is a ultra conservative neanderthal with a 52 inch diameter stomach and 60 inch wide mouth who knows absolutely nothing about everything except how to stand in line at a pizza palor while waiting for three super large pizzas to eat for lunch. That's why is on radio and not T.V.

I see you are into the whacky tabbacky again. That is why McCarthy was widely discredited and had to leave Washington in shame, and his name forever remains a blemish in American history...yeah? You have been listening to too much limbaugh!
