Just because I have a revolving door when it comes to females doesn't mean I don't have standards. As long as she is hot, and not a ho, that is all that counts. Males and females have very different positions in society. Thus, they do not abide by the same attributes for attraction. This is because males are blithering idiots IMO. I get pissed off at males because males are so pathetic. One of the important things to note is that girls ge together all the time, and develop strategies when it comes to boys. Girls always conspire. Males conspiring is practically nonexistent and it sucks. Males have a huge disadvantage not because they are bad at strategy but because they simply don't conspire. Girls will get together, and plan how they are going to act in front of boys in order to manipulate them. Girls will also keep each other in check to keep eachother from losing the upper hand with boys. Girls set standards in order to stay on top. For example, they will tell each other not to call a guy no matter what. Boom - you have a group of girls who, regardless of how much they like a boy, will not call him. All as a strategy. One girl with this standard is nothing. When a group of girls get together, and set a bunch of standards, they are powerful. Girls always talk to eachother about how they are going to mess with boys. Boys on the other hand typically talk about how hot a girl is, and how they want to bang her. Boys, almost always, go into battle with absolutely no backup or any plans whatsoever. Girls shoot them down like geese. Then the boy wonders where he went wrong. If a group of boys get together, and use any form of strategim with eachother in any form, even if it sucks. This will totally throw girls off. Girls are not used to guys teaming up. As such, their defenses are completely shot. So here we have a society in which girls are higher in demand because boys are stupid. I can give an example of one time I got pretty pissed off. We were doing a group activity. The group was divided btw girls and boys. So here were the 2 groups doing their thing separately. Then the girl group yells out "your group is too loud so please keep it down". The boys respectfully lowered their voices. When the girls were getting a little loud, somebody from the boy group told them the same thing. The girl group instantly witout flinching got louder just to mess with the boys. Girls go into battle as a group. Boys go into battle alone. Bottom line. Girls conspire. Boys compete. That is the downfall of the boy. So here is the difference: Girl goes out - Tons of boys hitting on her left and right like a plague. Boy goes out- Nothing. If he wants girl, he has to deal with competition. A boy with lots of girls is great. A girl with lots of boys is nothing special. Because of this social structure, there is no reason for me to see a promiscuous boy in the same light as a promiscuous girl. A boy can sleep with different girls, and still have high standards in his choices. A girl who sleeps with different guys means she has low standards. A person with low standards is not very attractive. Sperms go for egg. Sperm that reaches the egg is the winner. Guys that get the girl is the winner. Getting more girls is not going to make him look worser. Egg will get the winnder sperm. Girls getting a guy to sleep with is not a huge task. Girls sleeping with lots of guys means she is not very selective.
It's also interesting that if a group of men started conspiring together to manipulate women in the same way that women routinely manipulate men, most people would consider them manipulative, game-playing dirtbags - even though society generally looks down on women who sleep with many men far more than men who sleep with many women. The general view seems to be that women should only sleep with a few men, but can do pretty much whatever they want to manipulate them as a team sport, while guys are allowed to sleep with many women but are supposed to do it on their own. Edit: And of course I can't really prove this, but in general most of the scheming etc. that many women engage in regarding guys doesn't really affect anything. It's pretty much a waste of effort on their part. Things aren't going to go any differently if the woman calls the guy back two days later instead of the next day, or any of the other details that women obsess over.
I don't think the phone call thing might have been a great example of strategy as I am not an expert on female strategies. I do know, a group of girls will set some standards in a social setting for the specific purpose of toying with boys.
One can deduce from this that heterosexual women have to have low standards if they want sex. Why? Because she has to have sex with me if she wants to have sex and men are pathetic. Men, who are pathetic, can have high standards, but they are still men.

Pretty much all jobs in an oppressive system exploit people for their time and effort. It's prostitution in a sense. But prostitution prostitution is having sex for money. That is a whole differnt jar of paint. People are glad that their mom and sister are not doing it. Why? Why is it OK for mom and sis to work at the orfice, and not go out to have sex for money. Did she say yes to him? Obviously not a slut. Back to the original question, I don't see moderate promiscuity as inherantly wrong if all parties are upfront about it and take reasonable precautions. Sure its mildly more risky but so are many things in life. Personally I like long term relationships where you get to know each other.

I have the same proclivity, and heck, I am married now and happy with the arrangement. It seems like a 'ho' is a woman who either 1) you sleep with but for some reason you disrespect them for sleeping with you but not yourself for sleeping with them. or 2) sleeps with other men the way you sleep with women or wish you did. I agree with you, and particularly on #2. Also, we still have double standards when it comes to males and females. If a guy sleeps around, well., that's his nature. If a woman sleeps around...WTF???!!!! What's wrong with her? She's only supposed to want love, not sex. You're right. Pretty much all jobs are prostitution. You sell yourself in exchange for money. Athletes sell their bodies for millions so do fashion models. It's just the idea that gets people twisted up in knots.
