Not good enough. You're ear looks pretty intact.

All this talk of old photos has driven me to begin my quest to scan all family photos onto my computer. I started this project about five years ago and got most of my uncles' photos. I have several other relatives who will be attending Thanksgiving dinner at my house who swear that they will bring along their vast amounts of pics.

My aunt recently gave me these two gems which I promptly scanned and edited for clarity:

My infant father being chased by his father on the beach in Florida. Cerca 1948.

Paternal granpa' and grandma' round about the same time as the picture above

When I was about eight or nine, I asked my mother if I could pick my own costume for Halloween.
She said I could, so I locked myself in her bedroom and came out looking like this:

My mother was proud of my creativity.
My brother, as you can see, was very disappointed.

That was my first drag experience.

    Right.

Well, Draq, you have access to the internet, otherwise you wouldn't be annoying us with juvenile questions. Type the word into "Google" and see what comes up.

Hey. I used to work for them!

They paid great. I hated the job though.

Damn...you make one ugly woman! LOL! I don't have a picture, but I wore the completely un-pc "Aunt Jemimah" costume, back when I was a kid..complete with black face, head scarf and fake boobs as big as cantelopes.

M*W: Do you mind me asking what part of WV your granny came from? Her photo has a familiar recollection of the local gene pool.

    Great pics! Please post more!

M*W: Self-induced haircuts must be from something in the genes. I did it, and my kids did it. We were all proud of our self-scalping. Don't know why the parents weren't!
