Yea, you can't really die in cell and creature stage.
Most gameplay is in the space age.

This is as far as I got:

I realized I can create sort of limbs, and attach spitters to them. It would probably make shooting easier than coming from the breasts. At this point, my tribe just migrated to another nest. I still have lots of socializing to do with other tribes in order to gain my DNA.

    LOL *shakes head*

You are an omnivore then ? You can eradicate weaker nests and gain DNA that way.
Oh and a tip, eat eggs. You get +25 DNA from them. Just make sure you can handle it when they attack you.
Also, there are wild versions of creatures roaming around (250 HP), they are easily befriended so you can put them in your group to make you stronger.
I am not sure that putting the spitters where your hands should be allows you to shoot better, in fact I very much doubt it. But you can always try of course.
    Good luck

I'm not omnivore. I'm herbivore. Damnit I didn't know you could befriend one of those big guys. I think I tried when I didn't know what I was doing. Cripe, I can eat eggs? You mean my own or only my enemies?

I just graduated creature stage. I finally got all my social skills up. My attack skills are decent. I decided to keep my spitters on my boobs. BTW, I call them the Muterac.

When I got to tribal, they made me get clothes. Here he is with clothes on.

Everytime I play this game, I get craving to eat hotdog. I wonder why.

What I never used in Creature Stage was the Sirin button. What was that for?

Nah, you can only eat eggs if you are a carnivore or omnivore. I mistakingly took your pigs mouth for an omnivore part.
You cannot befriend the really big though.. don't even go near them.
Anyway, for next times I guess

You can use that when you are caught up in a fight you're not going to win.
The opposing creatures will be so caught up in your song (very momentarily btw) that you can make a run for it.

I actually read something somewhere that I should be careful what I do to my creature before going to tribal phase. Anyway, here is the fimal result of Muterac.

Now in city phase. I also had similar buttons in tribal phase that I never used. Something that looked like rain and another one.

The rain is to let it rain. All the fruit plants will be replenished with max fruit.

    What did you read ?

I haven't read anything. I have the manual, but when I couldn't find anything about what happens when you die, I stopped reading it. And there is the help section in game as well which doesn't say what happens when you die or much about what items to use.

When you die you just come back. Don't lose anything. To lose, you have to try to pretty hard.

nothing much happens when you die. If you die in cell or creature stage you haven't lost anything, youll just be reborn.
In the other stages you will have to restart the age.

I'm disappointed with the game so far because I haven't really been able to get into it. The cell stage was like a strange introduction. The creature stage was interesting and there were some really charming, polished touches but it was pretty simplistic and repetitive. So were the tribal and civilization stages. It was fun designing the buildings and vehicles but it still felt a little shallow.

Now I'm in the space stage and I'm going from one planet to the next completing tasks but I'm got getting that "just one more turn" tendency that I get with very good strategy games.

This is nothing like Sims, Sim City, Civilization, or even Warcraft. This game is not very well made. I remember attempting to play Populous and Black&White a long time ago. Those games were horrible. B&W was very suped up in technology, but did not deliver very poorly in game play. I got into it to some extent, but it never made any sense. Lots of times, I was just creating massive populations that didn't do anything.

With Spore, I play in normal mode. I have made it to the space stage with no trouble. But each bloody stage is a complete set of controls and rules. It sucks. I can understand gaining new and interesting abilities as a game progresses, but this is just nonsensical. Yes if I get a spaceship, I really should indeed have a whole new set of abilities, but they just pile everything on top of you at once. I forsee myself beating the space stage, and probably not continue playing.

This game took that long to make for an outcome of mediocre wackness. It is actually not actually falwed, so not that bad. It's fun to an extent. But games I've played games full of flaws such as Populous which was total crap from what I remember. B&W had so many flaws in gameplay as well as I mentioned earlier.

The thing with Diablo2 is that game play veries very little as you progress. While it is a decent play, all you do is get more power, and face more powerful monsters anyway.

I remember playing Zeus, and I think Pharoah which were actually pretty damn fun despite their simplicity.

It's noy my fault. I think these spore creatures are all asexual. Muterac's shape is meant for utmost evolutionary dominance. In creature stage, I had him shaped like a hot dog. Not a penis.
