Why are girls so irrational and illogical?

If you mean the entire world given unlimited access and resources then perhaps 60,000,000. But the vast majority of women don't live in my country (I have dual citizenship) so it's quite irrelevant. A more realistic number is probably around 45,000 because I think I don't look so bad.

I don't have access to all those women because they don't live in my country and most of those who do live in my country I will never get to see or meet.

That's the advantage of having a world with a lot of beautiful women. This means there's a lot of fish in the sea.

How did you get so off topic? And yes, boys in school are looked down upon for getting high grades, while it is expected from girls. What that means about what we're talking about, I'm not sure.

That's a little exaggerated is it not? I think high grades are respected by most people, it's just looking overly interested in school work will get you labelled as a geek.

 

BOH, that's your experience. I don't think women are less logical; I think they simply find the subjects less stimulating than guys. Knowing and articulating on the composition and speed of stars isn't all that romantic when you're looking at them

In our American culture (I assume you live here) it's what females are conditioned to do. They mimic celebrities, like Paris Hilton, who is a huge dumbass, and pride themselves on what they've shopped for and how many dicks they've sucked. I don't think women are innately less rational then men, they're just culturally inclined to be dumb asses. It's pretty sad, really.

Why is it not racist? While I agree that anybody that wants to mimic a jackass like Paris should be thrown off the roof, I do find it racist to categorize women as irrational.

 

As I have clarified in the thread, woman are not irrational, but relatively, they are less rational than men. How that is even close to being racist in any way imaginable, I am not sure.

 

Because it's racism to claim that they are less rational or more rational. There is not validity in racist claims. Each person is more or less irrational than the other regardless of their gender.

I would also say Betrayer that we are very different. We are both human, but what drives us is different. So when those paths cross it appears as illogical to you but not to the woman and vice versa.

Just go get laid and don't over think the relationship.

You will never understand them completely and they are way, way smarter than you give them credit for. They are beautiful and we need them.

I give them due credit. I can recognize that one of my friends, who is a girl, is smarter than I can hope to be. I respect her very much, her understanding of philosophy and, something that I claim to be, is a "true" libertarian. There is no "relationship," in the way that you are thinking. So now I ask you, since you are far wiser than I am, what drives men and what drives women?

 

Then you don't know enough. Men are superior to women in some things while women are better at other things.

I wouldn't claim to be wiser.

That is a very complex question. So I won't be able to come close to covering all the ways because I don't know all the ways. But I can touch on a few.

What I am referring to is what is instinctual and what is learned in our culture.

Desire to have children. Drives an approach to us that we don't take of them. Men typically don't look at a womens earning potential, we don't look at there ability to provide. We look at their beauty because that is what attracts us to them and we are very simple in that way.

Women also have an attraction component here and again it is instinctual. Studies have shown that women tend to like features in men that would tend to be a dominant male, strong facial features, muscular chest and arms etc. The physical leader of the clan. They want to be protected. Since they feel vulnerable on a physical level.

Women in our culture have chosen mates based on a variety of was to provide, both financially and emotionally, but they still want the good looking attractive man for sex. They will usually take the former over the latter.

What drives men in my opinion is the never ending desire to want physically attractive women. Instinct is paramount here and shows up in all of our advertising. Sex sells, beautiful women capture our attention and deisre. We can't help it, and without it we would not have continued as a species. Just as all species have this need. We are hunters, we keep hunting. My mom caught my 85 year old dad looking at a hot babe coming down the escalator the other day. Nothing more to be said there.

So I think you might agree that they are more in control of this outlet. An attractive woman can go to a bar and pick up anybody she wants, because all the men in the bar want her. Women are pickier because there is a greater consequence to a poor decision when you consider the main drive which is to have children and that man needs to be able to provide.

Please, women don't imply that I am stating you should all be barefoot and pregnant. I don't believe that and already stated that it is your choice and some choose not to.

Women have made such major strides in their own ability to provide support for themselves and their children that it makes one think about how that change will impact some of our instinctual drives over a long period of time.

This is just the tip of the iceburg. It is much more complex then I have stated but to me these are some basics.

I know what drives me.

I know many grils who are totally irrational, and just as many who are above the rest. What drives men and what drives women are not that different. Men want lots of money. So do women. When I see a girl, I don't care how damn hot she is. She better have cash up the ass.

 

That's not how I feel at all. And since I cannot be wrong, because it is how I feel, you are the one telling me how I(and every other man feels), you created an absolute, you are wrong, or at least show me some proof for any of your claims.
