IMO, humans are fair looking in the animal kingdom. We have different color hairs and complexions, but the range is small. We have to use artificial makeup to make ourselves more attractive. IMO, species such as the peacock butterfly, the golder ringed dragonfly, volitans lionfish, the peacock, and many frog species. Granted, there are many species that are considerably uglier such as the alligator.

Even many of the animals would say that humans are beautiful, if they could speak.

I think humans are quite beautiful, even from an animal's POV. Humans are big, curvy, most are rather docile, walk upright, and there's so many billions many of them.

And of course, that picture is of a particularly beautiful and attractive human.

I think quite many animals highly respect humans. Many animals naturally fear us, as God put the fear of man into the animals, the Bible says occurred after the Great Flood of Noah's Ark. Both for human benefit, and perhaps for the sake of the animals as well.

I notice rows of birds watching the cars passing belong along the freeway, perched high above on the powerlines. There's lots of powerlines all around. Why do so many birds perch above the freeway? Curious maybe? Quite many wild animals don't seem to mind having humans around, at a nice safe distance, but of course.

Pets seem to particularly like humans. Dogs leave their natural environment, to live in the almost "alien" realm of humans. Sure, dogs like to go outside for a walk, and "visit" their more natural urban environment, but seem happy to go back into the homes of humans, to "visit" nature again some other day. But what of cats, which seem to keep humans as their pets? Cats may not seem as naively loyal to humans, as dogs, but yet, cats seem to prefer to share our homes, over the great natural outdoors. So probably cats too, would consider humans as beautiful.

Another reason why animals would perhaps consider humans as beautiful or awesome, is because we humans hugely "mark" our territories, even without necessarily meaning to. Most animals likely have little perspective or understanding, but at least the birds that fly high and far, could perhaps see that the numbers of humans upon the planet are huge and widespread. Big cities cover much of the land, and not all that far away, more small towns and big cities. Sure, there's lots of birds and such in the world too, but humans would seem to obviously leave their mark. To the keen sense of smell of many animals, I imagine the planet must reek of humans. Some animals deal with this well, and seem to respect the many humans, and find their niches among the humans, usually keeping well out of our way. Others don't deal so well, become "confused" as to what shrinking territory fragments may be available to them, and encounter difficulty reproducing in the wild. I doubt that it's so much "loss of territory," so much as that there's just so many humans alive, to some animals, it may seem the entire planet is now just for humans.

So why are humans beautiful anyway? Because we humans naturally hold to a human-centric POV? Actually, I don't think that is it, but rather, because we are created in the image of God. Because we have souls. And because humans are beautiful. It's also a reason why humans should be encouraged to continue reproducing, and making all the more beautiful people, to naturally come alive.

The devil tries to deceive us, that we are not beautiful, that there's nothing all that much "special" about humans. But even many of the animals, would seem to know that humans are beautiful. One of the best things that can happen to a dog, is to find a good human home to live in. To become "adopted" into a human "pack," because humans are intelligent and special and beautiful.

I'm an animal and I find humans vary from ugly to beautiful.
I'm curious what this has to do with how they look?

Ugly. Look at how our face is just slapped on the front of our head.
Most animals' facial features are wrapped around the head.

From most animals perspectives they really don't think very much about humans because they leave us alone for the most part and really try to avoid our stupid ways of trying to destroy them and ourselves as well. Most animals would rather die than become part of a zoo collection and avoid being trapped as best they can. Animals think humans are inhumane, self centered and out of touch with the balances that nature provide.

wtf? This is what you think animals are thinking. The animals are thinking exactly like you. You know that's impossible. Why not just say animals can't come up with an thought or feeling that you say they have. Because whatever you say, surely is from your mouth, not an animal's. Not from an animal with a very different brain and mode of operation from yours.

Unless you are being poetic, if so I agree.

Animals don't care how humans look. All they care about is whether or not we have food for them.
