Why are animal rights suporters so intolerant?

Seems that you find their intolerance intolerable.

There is a very wide range of groups concerned with animal rights, from registered charities, little old ladies giving money to the local cat's home and the tiny minority that resort to property destruction, intimidation and extremely rarely actually violence upon another person.
So, are you suggesting that all these people should just shut up and allow animals to be tortured, killed, abused, wiped out...??

Surprise, surprise.

They should shut up and allow those animals to be bred and cared for in captivity. There are more tigers in captivity than in the wild because breeding in captivity works.

What the little old ladies contribute to is the destruction of the small farm, the small rescues, and private breeding. They buy into the lie that there is something wrong with breeding animals in captivity.

There are more tigers in captivity because tigers in the wild have been hunted close to extinction. You make it sound like a competition between the wild and captive breeding

You have to ask yourself this question. How many times does PETA have to lie before people stop believing their stories? They've been caught in lies. Reporters still repeat their information as if it is true.

 

You generalize FAR too much. That is your problem.
Plus, you have some really screwed up views of nature.

we arnt talking about PETA, they ARE an animal rights organisation and i compleatly disagree with there premis.

the RSPCA ISNT a animal rights organisation, its an animal WELFAR organisation. In enforced the laws relating to the HUMANE TREATMENT OF ANIMALS

 

They are anti-hunting and pretty transparent about their animal rights policies, you know.

They sneak around a lot, you know. They even deceive the people who work for them, as some of the people on this board are trying to deceive everyone. They keep a lot of the dirt off their website.

 

One of the proofs is that RSPCA calls for a ban on private ownership of most animals. They use animal welfare as an excuse, which makes their program a lie because humans can take good care of all sorts of animals. It's a dead giveaway when they use the very few abuse and neglect cases as an excuse.

The RSPCA has been caught pursuing several outright fraudulent "private prosecutions" against individuals. As far as I am concerned an organization only has to push one outright lie to become a liar. It would be different, maybe, if they simply admitted it, but admitting it would show weakness. What is shocking is that as long as they don't admit lying too many individuals will continue to believe that they tell the truth no matter what they are caught doing. I am sorry for those individuals.

 

Anyone here who admits to being an animal rights activists knows exactly what will happen. Instead they pretend not to be animal rights activists in order to retain credibility.

 

your wrong AGAIN, most animals are banned under the conservation acts and the quarentieen act because they would threaten the natural wildlife of Australia if introduced.

Its the GOVERMENTS who admimisters these acts NOT the RSPCA. Infact quarenten Australia is more closely related to coustoms than anything else

 

They want to ban all possession all over the world of most species of animals.

Are you an animal rights activist? Do you believe that humans should be stopped by law from eating meat, owning pets, or using fur and leather?

 

They should never be allowed the kind of control that they are asking for.

No i dont belive that leather (from cattle for food anyway) and meat for food should be banned and have never said i did. I EAT meat.

Now moron, back up your claimes. Take frog spawn for instance, in victoria its banned to keep frogs or frog spawn and its department of wildlife officers who admister this ban. In SA you can buy treefrogs down the road from here and some of the zoos even provide tadpoles for schools. Again this has nothing to do with the RSPCA

There officers are ONLY envolved in admistering the cruelty to animals acts as i have posted previously.
