What do you use to relive stress? I have heard a lot about stress balls, and even watching water running, i.e waterfalls. My friend uses candles has a way, and some poeple use sex, (good hard fast sex that is) I personally use Music the louder the better, and the heavier the better! so what is the best stress reliver?
I exercise. Anything athletic. I'd take a long walk through downtown LA or I beat people up in martial arts training, hiking, climbing on stuff. Yeah I have a lot of energy.

Self abuse, heavy music, lifting weights, cycling, or just going for a walk with said heavy music blasting in my ears.

Martial arts, Meditation, Sports, talking to somebody about problems, watching wildlife, sitting near water, watching the stars, hitting a punchbag, watching a candle flame or an open fire, looking at clouds, listning to classical chinese music, smoke a blunt or a J (not anymore so much), hit the gym, paint, draw/sketch, play about with water or buckets of sand with my hands. peace.
I relive stress just by thinking about it after the fact. I am trying to learn ways of relieving stress without slicing myself up.
To relive stress, I get up every day in the morning. To relieve it, I do things that make me feel good. My favorite to run a very hot bath, put in lots of salts and sink inside for fifteen minutes. Thats the longest I can stay still in one place. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Some things I do: I moderate & post on an online forum, which is a nice distraction (maybe you've heard). I read. Masturbation works in short spells. TV. News. Scifi. Documentaries (prison documentaries fascinate me; spare me the gay jokes). Work out, exercise is also helpful. I cook. ~String

I like to go jogging in a park, or down a road without much traffic. Places with lots of greenery. The color green relaxes the eyes, or so I've heard. I think about how beautiful it all is, and just enjoy the moment as it goes by. After that I head home and take a quick cold shower. Ahhh.. Leave your problems at your doorstep, and take them up when you need to.
