Obama slipped and called himself a muslim. Why? If he is a muslim, why act christian? If he is a christian, that's a pretty wild slip up to make, dontcha think?
I didnt think it was that big of a deal, i heard the clip and it is best heard in context. Does not matter because the day he entered the race i said 'looks like another Republican President'. Well i wanted Hillary so i was disappoijnted.
Can you actually back this up? As a note, you should always provide links to support such a claim. ~String
He accidentally said "muslim" when he meant to say "christian," and he immediately corrected himself. Since he was talking about the ridiculous rumors that he was a muslim and was saying "muslim" and "christian" quite a lot very close together in a short time, it's not surprising that he made a verbal typo. Of course, the fact that he's quite clearly a christian didn't stop republitards from cutting out a brief snippet of the clip and circulating it around out of context. Because, hey, why let little things like facts get in the way of a smear campaign?
Who nkows? I dont think he can take office and then drop the hammer. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
I find it interesting, if you read the article, it doesn't say there was any ongoing muslim/christian discussion going on. He naturally said muslim, the interviewer corrected him. I'm just saying that's a might big slip to make for a christian, or a muslim. Perhaps he's like Norsefire, every few days he changes beliefs. Perhaps he's an undercover muslim. That would be hilarious, I think. Especially if he gets elected.
Has anyone ever notice the rightwing nutjobs are the majority of people trying to make this a big deal? The rednecks are being ignored with there pathethic attempts to place seriousness behind a mistake. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
There was. I'm sure you can find a complete transcript or the entire unedited video online. They were talking about the stupid "obama is a muslim" rumors. I don't see anything remarkable about a verbal slip like this. But since many republicans are apparently able to simultaneously believe that he's a muslim AND freak out about things his christian preacher said, it's not too surprising that many of them are trying to seize on this.
