He "happened" to kill people? wtf? He killed TWENTY MILLION PEOPLE.

I don't give a rats ass for his reasons. And he was an atheist. So clearly, atheism is not a solution to mass murder since all the top five mass murderers in this century have been atheists.

Don't worry your head about India's religious conflicts. You are in no position to even comprehend them let alone comment on them.

It matters because of your ridiculous claim that atheists kill people for their religious beliefs.

What's really hilarious about Sam is that she would delete posts, warn and then call for a banning of anyone who would troll her forum in much the same way.

But then, sanctimonious hypocrites don't give a rat's ass.

Yeah, they adopt other ideologies, which have proven to be more dangerous to the people living around them.

M*W: Actually, he killed some 50 million people but not because he was an atheist that made him do it. He killed people, because he was an insane political despot. There's a difference.

How is an atheist motivated to kill anyone? I can't imagine Stalin thinking, "I'm going to kill a bunch of people, because there is no god!" However, I can imagine him thinking, "I have the absolute power and control to kill anyone I don't like."

We have to remember that Judaism evolved over time. The old testament writers did not address any concept of a place of punishment after death, their preferred method was to have Yahweh punish the children of sinners 'to the third and fourth generation'...as stated in the ten commandments.

The Greeks and the Persians however did have hell concepts and the Jews, including Yeshua, by the first century had started assimilating those ideas into their world view.

Slaughtering was really just Stalin's way of problem solving.

"Problems are only created by people."

You are becoming tiresome now. The killing was about politics and power. Stalin was an evil man and it is likely that some of the people he killed were atheists.

I thought this thread was about religion, not other ideologies. Go start a thread under " Non-religious Ideologies" because you are trolling here.

So what? Are you saying that Christians killing Christians and Muslims killing Muslims is about politics and power and not about religion?

So, you keep talking of atheists as an attempted rebuttal. Atheism is NOT a religion. If you must, defend religion in its own terms but stop using atheism as a whipping boy or a tactical diversion.

Atheism is a religion. Its a set of beliefs that there is no God and theists are delusional and atheists are intellectually superior.

Do tell me about my set of beliefs, where I witness 5 times a day and indulge in all the other practices and rituals associated with religion. Don't forget that Richard Dawkins is my Pope.

Why not start another futile thread " Is Atheism a Religion ? "

That's not an answer and you know it. I have the courage of my convictions, that's all. SAnd berore you tell me that religious people do as well, I will tell you their beliefs are rooted in superstition.

It's certainly antithetic to the claims of those religions spouting peace.

It is the sanctimonious hypocrisy they exhibit.

    As you do.

Oooo, I know James will absolutely love your trolling in his thread.

I know what you think of my behavior, but what do you think of Sams? Doesn't it make you bite your tongue a bloody red to read posts such as that and not wonder how she represents Sciforums?

So sciforums is better represented by such as yourself? Its an ultimatum? There is no room for more than one opinion?

    Opinions, yes... trolls, no.

And, if you wish to be the lone troll of Sciforums, I could accept that.

But, if you wish to represent Sciforums, then you represent it as a troll.

Do you know, you are exactly like those theists who used to force atheists to conceal their beliefs.
