you dont have to be cynical. i meant that most of the time its because of misunderstandings since some posts can be ambiguous with the author not observing the ambiguity.
OKay then, just to be clear. I consider Hitler not worthy of respect. Hitler was a cynical political opportunist who took a wonderful country, filled (for the most part), with wonderful people into a dreadful war and caused untold suffering and injustice. In order to faciltate his political exploits he persecuted Jews, and some other minorities. So does this contradict anything I might have said earlier?
i disagree. i dont think germany was filled with wonderful people. antisemitism was always in germany, hitler only used it. even to this day, there is antisemitism in germany, only its under the surface. germans still regard themselves as the Aryan master race. ive met uite a lot of them on youtube, where they arent afraid to say what they think.
if he has videos in germans, and speaks german, and say he is from germany, i see no reason not to beileve him. i am trustworthy of people.
i was just thinking about the phrase - if it walks like a duck, speaks like a duck and looks like a duck...you are giving this much more meaning then i did. you can always find them on youtube, if you dont believe me.
I'm sure you can, but I'm not sure that UTube is the best source to draw on to characterise present day Germany. (just as well it wasn't around in 1938 hey?)
well usually no(imagine if i had to assert on the character of most americans based on this forum), but with my experience with germans. i trust my senses. but they have a heck of a soccer teamPlease Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Germany started a war with France and Poland. There is evidence showing some Jews were putting the squeeze on Germany. Is it racist to point out Jews run the banking industry, as well as many other industries, today as they have for a long time? There is even a front page article in a Jewish paper where economic war is declared on Germany prior to WWII. If you look at the historical evidence its that blatant. Hitler is kind of like the current President of Iran. He's got powerful enemies calling him all sorts of names threatening to attack his country so he's arming as fast as he can. Since he's arming as fast as he can his enemies are saying, 'See he's up to no good.'
See now Hitler, after being called all these names - long after calling Jews lot of names - rather than defending himself and his country attacked a number of nations and attacked many of his own citizens. There's really only so far you can look at Hitler as 'simply reacting'. I also think the comparison to Iran is poor.
Then it is very odd that the banking industry funded and supported Hitler's arming of Germany and continued to do so even after the war began.
Don't know. did you know that GW Bush's grandfather, the father of Bush's dad, the other president, helped fund the Nazis? And not just with small sums. Huge sums in fact. In fact he got into trouble for it.
