That may be true (about babies going to heaven), but I think Christians pet peev with abortion is it's an act of murder, killing, taking another humans life. An innocent defenseless human at that.

Actually, in atheistic point of view, Enmos view is understandable, because,
atheists do not believe in God and hence do not believe in creation; I suppose
atheists believe in evolution, i.e. human are evolved from simpler life forms.
Then, there is no reason to place higher value on human than on animals.

In religious point of view, all other life forms are created to support human life.
However, only human are equipped with necessary brain and heart, and its
associated responsibilities. Animals aren't equipped with those and hence are
    free from responsibilities.

Yes. Other than the fact that we are ourselves humans.
But that is a completely subjective viewpoint.

Well, then they are innocent. You said you were against the killing of the innocent.

All those poor people don't commit suicide because they want to live. If you are
given the option to be born poor or not to be born at all, which one would you
choose? I suppose you would like to be born anyway, because you know once
you are born, you have the chance to have better life.

Well, I am not an atheist.

In this point of view, some animal are food for human. We aren't allow to hurt
animal, though. There are ethics in killing them for food. For example, it is not
allowed to kill animal with dull knives, because it will give them slow painful death.
It is also not allowed to kill animal for pleasure like in matador or any other sport.

This is, to me, the scariest part of religion.

Killing animals for food is perfectly natural.
I have no problem, in principle, with killing animals for good reasons such as food or direct self-defense (the self-defense argument should the only one for abortion by the way).
However, we have come to a point that the environment cannot adequately support our huge population. We are damaging it by our very existence.

So it's only statutory rape if she's not married? That's asinine. A piece of paper does not make it 'not rape'.

I'm pro-choice and anti death penalty.

Didn't ofend or disgust me. I'd like to know though why is it all ripped open?

actually VI marrage does nullify stat rape if its a legal marrage santioned by the courts.

it also is an exception to the liquor licencing laws (if your with your husband or wife you can drink with a meal even if your under 18 if they are over 18)

to be honest its never going to be an issue because the courts are never going to santion marrage for someone who is under age. especially concidering the age of concent in victoria is 16 anyway, i think you need to be 18 to get married there though so you can have sex before you get tied down

We are all defenseless against death. That's the way God made the universe. Death will nail us now or later.
    Innocent babies, however, are guaranteed
    ETERNAL JOY.
    No time to sin.
Just a direct line to their father's loving arms.

Oh, there are a few crazies. But no God is going to send an unborn baby to hell.
    Ask most Christians, they know.
I assume it is the same in Islam. But you can answer this, perhaps. The God of Islam would not send an unborn baby to a bad place?

    Does the future exist?
If it doesn't, then there is nothing one can take from someone.
If it does, well, it is the way it is-

Thats the process of abortion, they use a vacuum to suck out the fetus, thats the parts you see torn in the process.

And yet, so many Christians have no qualms about the death penalty.
