ISRAELI authorities have approved a plan to build 40,000 new homes in Jerusalem over the next decade. The news comes as US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice condemned Jewish settlement activity in the occupied West Bank. The plan was approved by the National Planning and Building Committee yesterday, municipal officials said. New homes will be built in the annexed Arab eastern sector of Jerusalem, but municipality spokesman Yossi Gottesman declined to say how many. Israel seized the sector in the 1967 Middle East war, and the annexation is not recognised by the international community. http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/0,21985,23876334-663,00.html So much for Israeli "peace" efforts
And of course they will be Jewish only homes, since Israel does not permit non-Jews to live in settlements. Can be American, European, Asian or African Jews, just as long as they are Jews. No native Palestinians who have been refugees for 60 years, no sirree http://www.theinsider.org/news/article.asp?id=2671
Yeah, many people were yawning like that while Jews were being tossed into ovens in Europe. You are in excellent company. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Too bad it's not 400,000 Israeli homes in Medina. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! End the Arab occupation of Medina.
Amen. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Its too bad that Israel is destroying the one place in the world that has been its sanctuary.
are you stupid medina is in suadi arabia. the ethnic homeland of the arabs? how the hell can the occupy a city that is populated by native arabs?
What does ethnic homeland have anything to do with it? Mohammed himself said the world is for everyone. No one should be evicted but no one should be prevented from going somewhere only because of their religion. Being an Arab does not exclude you from being a Jew or a Christian. There are plenty of those around. Not everyone thinks like the Saudis, not even all Arabs: http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3346663,00.html Hopefully that will change soon: http://www.alarabiya.net/articles/2008/06/04/50959.html http://www.cwnews.com/news/viewstory.cfm?recnum=57276 Its good to see even fundies opening up.
Ah of course. So Israeli studies which show a common origin for Jews in the Levant are all lies then? Quite possible of course, since the Bible claims [Kings 6:1] that the Jews were driven out of Egypt. Maybe before they were Egyptians, they were Arabs?
So they are Iraqis? Was he originally from Ur? Or did he go there from Medina? See, the possibilities are endless. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Hmm but genetic studies show them to be kin to the Levant, the Syrians, Lebanese and Palestinians. How does that compute? http://wc.arizona.edu/papers/94/60/01_2_m.html Archaeologists have a slightly different viewpoint. http://searchwarp.com/swa113711.htm
Re: original topic, it's none of your business SAM what buildings are built by Detroit municipality or New Delhi or whatever, just like it's none of your business what's being built in Jerusalem. You have delusions of grandeur (and others) so you think it is important what you think, but it's not. It's just a bunch of buildings. Why are you so racist and hate mongering that Jews building houses throws you into a fit? Would you rather they be homeless? That's a silly question. Of course you would. Honestly, you better concern yourself with more important things like children dying in Somalia and Darfur, not from Jews' construction.
