I am always on the bull's side. Finally he got him:

Is it just me, or most bullfigthers are small people? like they are trying to compensate for their small stature...

Well, you can't be "smaller" than this lying and defeated:

    Cool. I hate Spanish bullfighting.

The French version, where they tie ribbons to the bull's horns, and people run and grab one off the bull is OK. The bull is not harmed.

I always hope the bull kills the matador.
Sadly, the outcome doesn't influence its destiny afterwards.. and even if it did, bullfighting is disgusting.

Its more even than using a gun to shoot from a distance. At least the bull has a chance to defend itself.

really?! I never hope that a person dies.
I hope he has a change of heart or the bull runs over him and breaks his leg. I never hope for his death.

No, when it's bullfights, I want the matador, and the entire audience gored to death.

What a load of bullshit. Shooting the bull would be quick and humane. Killing it with a series of small wounds (and often the bulls are wounded from the start to slow them down) is barbaric.

What would you prefer if you were being killed for sport? Being shot from a distance or the opportunity to defend yourself?

yeah, in the wild the animal is usually killed quickly and has a high chance of getting away.
The bull is killed slowly and has no chance of getting away.

Killing animals for sport is barbaric anyway. IMO, it has the same level of sophistication as a serial killer who kills for pleasure or marauding armies who sign up to kill innocents. And there are a lot more humans to spare.

They don't eat the bull afterwards?

I'm not sure eating the victims makes serial killing more palatable.

If you're killing for pleasure, you're starting off on the wrong foot to begin with.

I am unable to put animals on the same level as humans. To me, killing for sport means you walk away from the dead animal and leave it to rot.

Do you know if they eat the bull?

I suppose most carnivores who prey on humans have the same issues.

No, I don't know. But it would not change my opinion of the "sport" if they did.

"It goes into the food chain and is today given to the poor, although some say that the meat has even better taste and texture due to the way in which the animal died.

The only thing that may cause that to happen is the amount of adrenalin released by the bull when it is fighting for its life.
Totally sick practice if you ask me.

If they still want gladiatorial sport, put the man in there without any weapon, that should kill the "Sport" off."

"I know that in Spain the meat from the bulls is immediately given out to the poor. I was there about 4 years ago and saw meat being distributed, so I asked what it was and a local told me exactly this."
