THIS IS NOT A WOMAN! It's Enmos with some stone pebbles under his shirt! Silly, Enmos. Always screwing around.
HAHA....Enmos!! I tend to slow down on the leg shaving in the winter months. I can't really be bothered, since I won't be wearing any skirts or anything.
Not my husband. I asked him how long I needed to keep shaving. He said I could quit shaving today, but he's paying for a barber to come to our house and do it for me. I wonder if barbers did that in the Old West.
My boyfriend's revolted by hairy women, particularly the legs. I shave every day anyway, regardless of if I'm going to be wearing shorts or skirts or what. If I don't it kinda grosses me out. Plus, it's really itchy when it grows back sometimes.
3x a week here. Can you tell by looking at it? My leg hair is fine blonde, so its hard to tell it's there unless you feel it. (so says the hubby)
Mine's pretty fine, it doesn't grow in that thick or anything, but it is black like my hair so it definitely shows. It doesn't bother him when he feels it? Just when he sees it? Hmm, that'd be an interesting poll....if guys care about how the hair feels or looks or both....

I can see the guys at Gillette and Wilkinson are getting a hard on, because of job well done. Seriously people, this is just a learnt reaction. Guess what! In most east European countries it wasn't fashionable to shave for girls until the Western beauty standard (and disposable blades) broke in, and the standard and expectation changed. But it is all learnt...
but to prove the point made earlier, let's make a poll: Let's say she stops shaving: Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! And she shaves twice a day: Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Guys, which one would you do?
The Egyptians did not shave, I think they waxed, with halawa. Not sure about the men, though. And yeah, most Muslim men shave their pubic hair. Its Sunnah, as you said.
S.A.M.: True. Egyptians tend to wax. Even so, it's pretty much the same thing: Hair removal. I have to say, I was a little taken aback. After all, Moslem men are known to have hella-chest hair and beards, so it seems kind of odd that the ONE part that wouldn't have hair would be their genital area. That being said, it goes back to the desert culture and stuff. It's an interesting fact, really.
I can't say with any convincing certainty as to when women started shaving, but I can postulate that it occurred within a strong and progressive empire. Is it unfeminine and unattractive? Oh yeah, it sure is. When most men see women with hairy legs, they disappear quicker than your buddies do when you have to move into a new apartment. Why? It just doesn't look right. Nobody wants to associate themselves with a woman who looks as if she has king kong in a headlock. Especially in public, where you're under the critical eye of the masses. Of course, women who only shave sometimes arguably can be worse than women who don't shave at all. Hair, as it grows out after being shaved, is considerably sharp and stiff, especially when it's relatively short. The instant you try touching those legs, you become engrossed in agonizing cuts and slits. That shit can seriously hurt. There should be some sort of law (of course, not strictly enforced) which states that women with unusually long hair in places like armpits and legs should be forced to shave/wax, or unable to wear revealing clothing. I couldn't imagine how disgusted I would feel if I even felt momentarily attracted to a woman on the bus, only to see her grip the overhead bars and reveal a stringy, wiry, smelly, sweaty, knotty, slimy bed of tangled hair. In a perfect world, women would shave (or wax, etc.) routinely. Why am I not demanding the same from men? Because this thread specifically targets women. So, yeah ... blame Syzygyz if you feel offended by anything I've said which seemingly targets women only.
...and that happens a lot to Muslim women... here is my take of the history part. Since in history most women were covered (last 800 years), I don't see why they had the need or expectation of shaving, so I assume they didn't...

But what would guys say if they were to choose between sleeping with the first girl unshaved and someone equally attractive who was shaved? And I know it is cultural and is only a preference in some countries but I think it's inarguably a preference here in America.
Nobody is talking about a dark haired girl who has a very hairy leg that she should epilate it. But I don't see a blonde with a very light and soft leghair the need to shave 3 times a week. Maybe occasionally or before a date...
