    The colour of whiskey.
    Or milky coffee.
Because the both make me puke.

No colour, but the smell of subtle perfume.
    because sexy women smell good.

Too many. I like chrysanthemums if that's any help.

Black, as that's the colour of the radomes.

    Colourless.

    Can't remember happiness.

    Dull pervasive grey.

    Infinite restful black.

    The same colour as life.

Never associated a colour with it.

    Not in a million years.
(And you knew I was going to say that).
    But you're not a geek.

What do you think should be done about the quacks (pardon) around here, if anything ?

In general we do the best we can: i.e. point out their errors.
But all too often the time arrives when they simply refuse to admit they're on the wrong track and keep repeating he same tired rubbish.
And unfortunately they also cease to be amusing, and a ban is the only viable option to stop SF being swamped with more junk.

    I agree.

    - Why do you think EmmZ picked you ?
    - What does Oli stand for ?
    - Why Daffy ? Because he's the coolest toon ?
    - When Orleander says "Lord love a duck", does she indicate you ?
    - Have you ever sky dived or anything else in that category ?
    - Which do you prefer, radio or CD's ?
    - Does distance exist independently of time ?
    - Who do you think Barbiegirl14 really is ?

    - How do you know so many tanks?
    - Are you an agent provocateur?
    - Did you ever meet anyone famous?
    - What is best in life?

That's easy - I was the first to reply when she posted "who's next?"

It's been my nickname since the age of about 4. More people know me as Oli than by my real name, and I'm more comfortable with Oli.

Not only is he a great actor but he does all his own stunts.

I only have to watch "Daffy Robin Hood" and I end up crying with laughter.

I hadn't noticed Orleander saying it to be honest. It's a fairly common, if old fashioned, English phrase.
But she did nominate me as "Hottest Guy on SciForums"...

Never skydived, but I don't know what else comes under that category: I'm a trained scuba diver, I did a bit of (free) cave diving (no air supply), competitive swimmer/ high diver, had a number of extremely fast motorbikes...

CDs: then I listen to what I want to hear.

I certainly believe so, and haven't seen any evidence otherwise yet.

Haven't had much to do with her, she arrived during my absence. But her claimed intelligence isn't matched by her grammar or spelling, and she displays a remarkable ignorance of what psychology really is.

    Ahem...If I may...

To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women.

    Oli---what's your profession?

I'm a geek and military technology is one of my interests.
    It's also a semi-professional thing.

    For whom?

Maureen Lipman, Terry Pratchett, Lenny Henry, Bill Gunston (aviation author), Ian Hogg (artillery/ firearms author), the guy in charge of the Brit contingent at CERN (shared a couple of pints with him over a week, but I can never remember his name), several other military technology authors.

    Being alive.

    Design engineer mainly.
But I've been published as military technology analyst, and consult now and again.

I'm always (pleasantly surprised that I get noticed, let alone missed).
I was working well away from home for most of last year, living in a hotel and at work 12-13 hours a day.

Oli...when do you think you will understand whether life was worth it? Did you already have the feeling of total accomplishment, yet?

If it was going to be my last meal I probably wouldn't care too much what it was.
But I do like a good chilli con carne.
Or most vegetarian dishes, something in a red pepper coulis.
